Reviewing Helps Long-Term Memory - Day 252 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #64 - Review the basics of your profession at least once per year.
To review means to examine or study again. As a retired teacher and current math tutor to adults, reviewing material already taught is something I seem to do everytime I meet with my students.
If you have ever taken a course, read a book, or been shown how to use something new, you probably discovered that just a few weeks later you can’t remember any of it. If that is so, you probably didn’t do anything with your new knowledge for quite a while.
Most learning needs to be repeated several times before it sinks in. Reviewing what you have learned regularly and strengthening your memory is important if you want your new knowledge to stay with you. We remember things best immediately after we heard, read, or watched them. As time passes our memories begin to fade. Reviewing information regularly allows us to transfer new knowledge and skills from short-term memory to long-term memory.

Partnerships - Day 251 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #63 - Never enter into a contract unless all parties benefit. But no partnership is ever 50/50. There will always be inequities.
A contract is a legally binding agreement between two parties. A party to a contract is one who holds the obligations and receives the benefits of a binding agreement.
There are three basic forms of business ownership. They are sole proprietorship, partnership and corporation. The benefit of a partnership over a sole proprietorship is that you will share the responsibilities, resources, and losses.
A partnership is a relationship between two or more individuals that join together to carry on a trade or business. Each partner contributes money, labour, property, or skills to the partnership. Each partner is entitled to a share of the profits or losses of the business.
Anyone entering into a business partnership with one or more partners should have a Partnership Agreement in order to formalize the terms and conditions of the business relationship. Even if you are entering a partnership with friends or family members, a Partnership Agreement that dictates the way a business is run and details the relationship between each partner is very important.

Failure is Just Success in Progress - Day 250 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #62 - If your purpose of life is security, you will be a failure. Security is the lowest form of happiness.
Security means the state of being free from danger or threat. In many languages, there is only one word for safety and security. For example in Spanish it is ‘seguidat’. In French it is 'sécurité'. In English it can also refer to the measures taken to be safe or protected.
Security guards are often hired to keep people, property and other valuable assets safe and secure. Their job is to prevent a crime from happening. They do this by proactively watching for suspicious behaviour, mitigating risks as they appear and contacting the proper authorities when an incident occurs.
Failure is defined as a lack of success or the inability to meet a desirable or intended objective. Too often, we can read too much into failure. We tie it to our sense of self-worth, self-esteem, and self-acceptance. Many times the expectation we fail to meet is one that we have created in our own head.

Oh What a Tangled Web We Weave - Day 249 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #61 - Never be deceptive when trying to achieve a personal gain. Shortchanging others results in loss of self-esteem.
Deception is the act of causing someone to accept something false or invalid as true or valid. Deception is defined as an untrue falsehood or the act of lying to trick someone.
Is there a difference between a lie and a deception? Lying is usually verbal. People lie for many reasons such as to conceal things from others, to protect themselves from punishments, to mislead others or even to save others from knowing a bitter reality. Deception is causing someone to believe something false.

Integrate Your Body, Mind, and Spirit - Day 248 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #60 - Integrate every aspect of your life (body, mind, spirit, relationships, business) and each within itself. Integrating means understanding and digesting a process… and seeing relationships among seemingly unrelated phenomena. It’s a sign of innovative genius.
Integrate every aspect of your life. To integrate means to combine one thing with another so that they become a whole. Things that are integrated have been brought together so they work together.
What does it mean to integrate every aspect of your life? You need to bring together the major elements of your personal and professional life so you can be the same person in each environment.

What Are Your Achievements? - Day 247 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #59 - The foundation of achievement is intense desire. The world’s highest achievers have the highest levels of dissatisfaction. Those with the lowest levels are the failures. The best way to build desire is to make resolute choices for the future.
What are achievements? Achievements in life are successes you have attained. When someone asks you about your achievements, they want you to share experiences that you consider impressive or prove your skills and capabilities. Share things that have helped you develop in a positive direction.
There are ways to talk about your accomplishments without sounding like you are bragging. Keep the emphasis on your hard work and don’t belittle other people. Stick to the facts and give credit where credit is due. Express gratitude and own your success without having an inflated sense of your own importance.
Are you a high achiever? What are your achievements? Share something you have accomplished recently.

How Do You React? - Day 246 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #58 - You are responsible for exactly who, what and where you are in life. That will be just as true this time next year. Situations aren’t important. How you react to them is. You have to play it where it lies.
You are responsible for where you are in life. That will be just as true this time next year. How you react to a situation is important, not the situation itself.
When you are responsible for something, it is your duty to deal with it and make decisions relating to it. Do you take responsibility for where you are in life today? Or do you blame others or make excuses. When you take responsibility for where you are in life you need to find solutions and then take action to keep moving forward.
How do you react to a challenge or a situation? Reactions are instincts which stem from the subconscious mind. Often there is no filtering process when you react in a situation because you are running on auto-pilot. Quite often when you react, you do and say things without thinking first. You just act and don’t consider the impact of what you might do or say.

Keys to Getting a Job Done. - Day 245 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #57 - You can get any job done through the sheer force of will when combined with uncompromising integrity and competence. Strong leadership is the key.
This credo statement says you can do it!. The keys to getting a job done are strong leadership, uncompromising integrity and competence.
A strong leader promotes a compelling vision. He/she treats others the way they want to be treated. A highly effective leader admits their mistakes and they know how to delegate. They also make themselves part of the action. Strong leadership involves great communication and making others feel important.
Integrity means being honest with everyone. A person with integrity behaves ethically and does the right thing even when no one is watching. Having integrity means your words, actions and beliefs are all aligned with how you live. Uncompromising integrity means your word is your bond. Leaders with integrity gain trust among their colleagues. They stand up for what they believe in and aren’t afraid of the truth. You are more likely to be considered for promotions and leadership positions, when you live with integrity.

Identify What You Want - Day 244 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #56 - Identify exactly what it is you want. This takes a lot of thought. Then don’t let anything stand in your way of getting it.
Identify what it is you want. What do you want in life? What really matters? How does one figure it out?
One way to future out what you want is to be clear about the things you don’t want. List the things you want to keep out of your life. Things like hate, injustice, and loneliness. Then separate the things you think you should do from the things you actually want to do.
Focus on experiences and what gives you a sense of purpose. When we do things for others or improve their lives even in small ways, we discover a sense of purpose. Saying a kind word to a stranger, cooking dinner for our family, making something that others use, or improving the world in some way can give us joy. Thinking about what impact you want to have on others, can help you to figure out what you really want.

Enjoy Life. Living Life Abundantly! - Day 243 - Daily Content Challenge
Kekich Credo #55 - Enjoy life. Treat it as an adventure. Care passionately about the outcome, but keep it in perspective. Things are seldom as bleak as they seem when they are going wrong – or as good as they seem when they are going well. Lighten up. You’ll live longer.
I love this! Enjoy life. Treat it as an adventure. Sounds like my motto. Living Life Abundantly!
A synonym for ‘enjoy life’ is to ‘live life to the fullest’. Live every day with a fresh new start. Don’t get held back by what happened yesterday. Living your life to the fullest is a process. Don’t get frustrated if it takes you a while to learn new things, or if you experience setbacks.
