Today, the CCLC marked an important milestone in our Doorways to Dreams campaign as we officially celebrated the groundbreaking of our affordable housing project.
Once complete, Doorways to Dreams will bring 247 new homes to London, including 102 affordable homes and 54 fully accessible homes, creating a place where individuals and families can settle, rebuild, and thrive.
We would like to thank the Honourable Rob Flack, Ontario's Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, MP Peter Fragiskatos, MP Arielle Kayabaga, Mayor Josh Morgan, MPP Terence Kernaghan, Councillor Peggy Sattler, and Councillor Susan Stevenson for joining us to mark this exciting milestone.
This project would not be possible without the support of our federal, provincial, and municipal partners. We are also deeply grateful to our generous donors and community supporters. Thanks to their leadership, we have raised $1.6 million toward our $2 million capital campaign goal.
But our work is not done.
Doorways to Dreams was created with the community in mind—to bring much-needed housing, revitalization, and support to London at a time when it is needed most. Now, the final mile is up to all of us.
Join us as we bring this vision to life and help build a stronger, more inclusive, and more prosperous London for generations to come.

Thank you to Ann Ramundo and the Westminster College Foundation for their generous support of our Doorways to Dreams capital campaign.
Doorways to Dreams is an investment in the future of London, creating housing and opportunities for individuals and families to settle, rebuild, and thrive. We are grateful to partner with organizations that share our commitment to building healthier communities and ensuring dignity for all. The Westminster College Foundation's support of affordable housing and its vision of healthy communities make this partnership especially meaningful.
It was a pleasure to welcome Ann to CCLC and provide a tour of our facilities, giving her the opportunity to learn more about how we support newcomers and strengthen communities.
Together, we are building more than homes, we are building futures.

Learning about the history of Indigenous Peoples is an important part of understanding Canada.
Our newcomer clients recently participated in a Canadian First Nations Information Session featuring the Blanket Exercise, an interactive experience that explores the histories, experiences, and resilience of Indigenous Peoples through storytelling, reflection, and discussion.
As a settlement agency, we are committed to creating opportunities for newcomers to learn, connect, and deepen their understanding of the communities they now call home.
Thank you to everyone who joined us for this meaningful session.

Immigrants and refugees are an important part of our communities. They contribute to our economy, enrich our culture, and help make Canada stronger.
This World Refugee Day, we celebrate the resilience, contributions, and stories of refugees and newcomers who help shape the communities we call home.
During the National Week of Action for World Refugee Day, let's take the opportunity to learn, listen, and reflect on the experiences of those who have rebuilt their lives in Canada.
Together, we can help build communities where everyone feels welcome, safe, and has the opportunity to thrive.
