Letter from the President:
“Friends from the Heart, Forever” is the motto found on Delta Kappa Epsilon’s coat of arms; a phrase that speaks volumes towards the core values that DKE was founded upon and that it continues to uphold today. Honourable friendship, as stated in the objects of DKE, is one of the primary goals of our fraternity, and is something that I believe is absolutely essential to university life today. It is this, along with the other ideals of our fraternity, that allows for the continuous enrichment of the lives of men in universities across North America and the United Kingdom every day.
DKE, however, is not only a society for men in their undergraduate years, but far beyond as well. I have heard older gentlemen of other organizations claim that they were in a fraternity during their university years, but with DKE I constantly hear alumni saying with pride that they are Dekes. The friends that they made and the values that were instilled with them are what shaped them into the types of formidable men that they are today. I can therefore truly say that membership in Delta Kappa Epsilon cultivates attributes and builds relationships that last lifetimes, friends from the heart, forever.
