📣 Meet Miss Jessie 🎤 Our new vocal and musical theatre teacher!

💗 Jessica (Miss Jessie) is a multi-disciplinary artist bringing in professional stage experience from Hong Kong and Toronto. She grew up with extensive training in choral and classical voice, dancing, acting, and musical theatre. Jessica made her professional theatre debut at the age of 9 in Hong Kong and continues to be an active performer and creator today.

📚 She furthered her arts education upon moving to Canada, studying Voice under the Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and in the Arts Unionville music program. Jessica is a graduate of the Center for Drama, Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Toronto and is currently completing her Master of Education.

🎭 Jessica has been involved in many musical theatre productions, with a range of credits including: cast (performer), director, music director, and choreographer. Her recent works focus on Theatre for Young Audiences and New Canadian Musicals.

🎶 Jessica has been teaching dance and musical theatre to aspiring young artists since 2021. She is known for her creative and encouraging teaching approach, and prioritizes instilling confidence and fun in her lessons.

One of our favourite things about Music Explorer Camp isn’t seeing kids learn instruments.

It’s seeing them discover what they love.🫶

Some campers arrive never having touched an instrument before. By the end of the week, they’re excited to show their families what they’ve learned, making new friends, and asking when they can come back. ❤️

These photos are a little glimpse into the laughter, teamwork, creativity, and confidence that fills our camp every summer.

Whether your child already loves music or is still figuring out what they’re interested in, Music Explorer Camp is designed to let them try new things in a fun, supportive environment without any pressure.

📸TLMA Spring Recital 2026 [Part 2]

Looking through these photos, we’re reminded that music is about so much more than learning an instrument. It’s about building confidence, creating friendships, and finding the courage to share a piece of yourself with others.

Some of our students stepped onto a stage for the very first time. Others returned with newfound confidence. Every performance told its own story, and we’re so proud of every single one of them ❤️

🎸 Retrograde is looking for a bassist! 🎸

Are you between 12-16 years old and love bands like Green Day, Paramore, Tokio Hotel, Radiohead, or anything with a little edge and energy?

Our student band Retrograde is on the hunt for a new bassist to join the group! We play a mix of pop rock, punk, and grunge, and we’re looking for someone who already has some basic bass experience and is excited to learn, improve, and have fun making music with others.

You don’t need to be a pro. What matters most is a positive attitude, a willingness to practice, and a love for playing music with a band. 🤘

In our Music Explorer Camp, campers get a chance to try playing:

It’s a jam-packed week of fun where kids try it all before finding the instrument that hits the right note!

Campers will also explore music history / genres, play team building games together, and take part in a variety of hands-on activities designed to spark curiosity, build confidence, and make friends in a supportive, high-energy environment.

Words can’t express how proud we are of Nelson’s MVP performance on 《中年好聲音4》 today. The excitement of watching this performance unfold leading up to the moment the score was revealed really brought tears to our eyes 🥹

This performance is truly inspiring as it is, but when you realize it was pulled off while he was down with a heavy flu, it’s evident that Nelson’s dedication to his craft is on another level🔥🔥

As his music family, we’ll be standing behind him every step of the way 🙌🙌 And if today’s performance proved anything, it’s that Nelson has firmly established himself as one of the strongest contenders to be the 《中4》 champ 🏆

For many students, these moments become some of their favourite memories of learning music.

Years from now, they may not remember every song they played, but they’ll remember how it felt to stand on stage, hear the applause, and realize they were capable of something they once thought was scary.

Thank you to all of our students, families, and teachers for making this Spring Recital such a special day. ❤️

✨ Create memories beyond the classroom
