Donations made to the Atken Armenian Foundation will support projects in Armenia selected by the Elliott and Terjanian families, continuing Richard’s legacy of generosity, education, and service.

With deep sadness, the Atken Armenian Foundation joins the community in remembering Me Richard W. Elliott, a man whose warm smile, gentle spirit, and generous heart touched so many lives.

Together with his beloved wife, Dre Léna Terjanian, Richard offered unwavering support to the outstanding young people we support in Armenia through the Terjanian Prize. Their kindness and commitment have helped open doors for gifted Armenian youth, encouraging them to pursue their education, their talents, and their dreams with the dignity and hope that every child deserves.

Richard’s presence will be painfully missed. He was a man of deep humanity who always made others feel valued.

We extend our heartfelt condolences to Dre Léna Terjanian, to Richard’s children Raffi, Maral, and Patrick, and to all his family and loved ones.

May you rest in peace, dear Richard. Your legacy is an inspiration to us all.
