JSBA represents Concordia students enrolled in SCOM and BTM. Though BTM and SCOM are small fields of study, their importance in business is ever growing.
The John Molson Supply Chain & Business Technology Association (JSBA) represents all students studying Business Technology Management (BTM), Supply Chain Operations Management (SCOM), and Data Intelligence (DI) at the John Molson School of Business (JMSB) of Concordia University, in Montreal. The association’s executives dedicate their time towards providing academic resources, and hosting an arra
y of educational and networking events to enrich the learning experience of their fellow colleagues. While JMSB offers a competitive education in both, there is a need for graduates to enter the industry with more than just a degree. Certifications, professional affiliations, skills workshops, and opportunities to apply knowledge in action all increase the value graduates bring to their employers. Last year, JSBA organized a multitude of activities such as speaker series, case competitions and networking events that attracted the JMSB student body at large. Through these events, students got a unique opportunity to meet and interact with some of the industry’s leading players in the Supply Chain and Business Technology field. They also benefited from a multitude of academic workshops, and many other initiatives. Throughout the academic year we host several events which help to bridge the gap between students, professors, and employers. These events include company tours, workshops, recruitment cocktails, speaker conferences, and competitions. Check us out on social media:
