You can’t grow aviation if there’s nowhere to learn to fly.
Across Canada, long-standing flying clubs and flight training schools are facing relocation or closure as leases expire, often after decades of serving their communities.
The Ottawa Flying Club, for example, has been training pilots and supporting General Aviation for nearly 100 years. Today, its future is uncertain.

is where every pilot starts - and it plays a critical role in supporting Canada’s aviation workforce and local economies.
Without access to airports:
• Students can’t train
• Clubs can’t operate
• The pipeline of future professionals shrinks
Canada’s aviation system depends on coordinated stewardship to ensure these critical access points are protected.
Because without places to learn and fly, aviation simply doesn’t grow.
