On The Move! SHIFT Athlete David Egorov is on the move to the Erie Ottors!

This week's Female Spotlight goes to Grace Outwater!

After an outstanding sophomore season at Penn State, Grace established herself as one of the top players in the AHA, earning AHA Scoring Champion honours with 31 points in league play and being named to the All-AHA First Team.

Grace appeared in 36 games this season, recording 24 goals and 16 assists for 40 points. Her 24 goals ranked second in the AHA and tied for 11th nationally, while her six game-winning goals ranked among the nation's best. She also finished with an impressive +37 rating, the fourth-highest by a Penn State skater in program history.

We are proud to have Grace training at SHIFT and look forward to seeing what she accomplishes next. Keep up the Grind, Grace!

This week’s Goaltender Spotlight features Francesco Lapenna!

Lapenna continues to make an impact at every level of the game. After an outstanding season with the University of Ottawa, posting a .920 SV%, 2.38 GAA, and 3 shutouts, he has earned a professional opportunity with the Trois-Rivières Lions, affiliate of the Montreal Canadiens.

We’re proud to have Francesco training at SHIFT and excited to follow his journey as he takes the next step in his hockey career. Congratulations on a stellar season well-deserved Francesco!

Mason McTavish is featured in this week's SHIFT Player Spotlight.

Mason wrapped up the season with 75 games played, 24 goals, and 41 assists for 65 points while serving as an Alternate Captain for the Anaheim Ducks.

Selected 3rd overall in the 2021 NHL Draft, Mason continues to establish himself as one of the league's rising stars through his leadership, skill, and consistency at the highest level.

We're proud to have Mason train at SHIFT and appreciate the opportunity to be a small part of his journey. Congratulations on another outstanding season, and we're excited to follow what comes next.

Congratulations to SHIFT athlete Ben Gaudreau on his commitment to Clarkson University to continue his hockey career at the NCAA Division I level.

After spending the 2025-26 season with the Trois-Rivières Lions of the ECHL, Ben will take the next step in his career with the Clarkson Golden Knights and ECAC Hockey.
