Le Festival du solstice d'été approche — and this one is very close to our hearts.

The Summer Solstice Indigenous Festival is a celebration of the enormous contributions that Inuit, First Nations, and Métis peoples have made to Canada — through music, food, art, and community. This year it's happening June 20th & 21st in Ottawa.

Ce festival est profondément significatif pour nous chez C'est Bon. It's where we have met some of the most incredible people — people who have shaped who we are as a cooking school. We are proud that Chef Sierra Conboy and Chef Trudy Metcalfe-Coe are both part of this year's Culinary Experience.

It's also where we had the chance to meet Joshua Qiyuk — a young Inuk cook whose passion and kindness left a lasting impression on all of us. C'est en son honneur que nous avons créé la bourse et le fonds d'aide Joshua Qiyuk au Collège Algonquin 🤍

Venez célébrer, apprendre, et vous connecter. We hope to see you there.

Juin est le mois de la fierté — but our commitment to inclusion doesn't start or end here.

C'est Bon Cooking is proud to be Rainbow Registered through the Canadian Q***r Chamber of Commerce (CQCC) , a national accreditation recognizing businesses that are genuinely welcoming and inclusive of 2SLGBTQI+ people — as employees, customers, and community members.

C'est quelque chose que nous portons avec fierté toute l'année

Our kitchen has always been a place where everyone is welcome, and we are committed to keeping it that way 🌈

De bonnes nouvelles à partager ! 🌱

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with — a local Ottawa organization turning food scraps into nutrient-rich compost that gives back to the soil. C'est le cycle parfait !

As a cooking school, we generate a lot of organic waste through our classes and events. Rather than sending those scraps to municipal collection, we're now working with Just Good Compost to ensure nothing goes to waste — and that our kitchen scraps are transformed into something meaningful.

Et ce n'est pas tout — Just Good Compost soutient également des opportunités d'emploi significatives pour les personnes ayant une déficience intellectuelle. Une organisation locale qui fait vraiment du bon travail.
Because good food should do good, too.
