What does it take to keep kids safe online?
discusses the federal government’s proposed Digital Safety Act and Canada’s new AI Strategy.
While regulation has an important role to play, digital literacy is just as critical. Young people need the skills, awareness and confidence to navigate online spaces safely, understand how AI works and make informed decisions in a rapidly changing digital world.
The conversation doesn’t end with policy. Empowering youth, parents and educators with the knowledge to safely engage with technology is essential.

Tone shapes culture. Culture shapes who stays, who thrives, and who makes the next big breakthrough.
