Crazy Hair Day! How fun!
Tomorrow is Summer Fun Day. Should it be raining, activities will shift indoors!

This week, our two grade 7/8 classes went to the beach for graduation trips. We played frisbee and soccer, went to two parks, lounged on the beach and played cards, walked by the pier, and enjoyed a yummy lunch at the outdoor restaurant. It was a beautiful day making core memories and connecting before new adventures lead everyone in exciting new directions! ❤️

This week, one of our classes went to Michael’s craft store to take inventory and use information for our data management unit. We finished off with some detective work and Language games on the Starbucks patio. What a great experience!

Students did a phenomenal job at our book fair presentations this morning! What tremendous growth from September to May! 💖

Primary students finished their novel study! To celebrate they had a PJ party with a special snack and watched the movie that paired with the book!

Today students presented social skills skits and they did a phenomenal job!

Our grade 8 class had a blast on the Indigo and Subway math and language studies field trip today! Students participated in a book and magazine scavenger hunt at Indigo and completed a BINGO book challenge, followed by comparing American and Canadian prices, and calculating tax, prior to making purchases. At Subway we discussed inventory and students practiced important life skills. What a great experience!
