Muharram teaches us to seek the best...

The Prophet ﷺ said:
“The best fasting after Ramadan is the month of Allah, Muharram.”

A believer doesn’t settle for mediocrity when Allah has opened the door to something greater.

When you begin looking through the Sunnah with this lens, you notice how often the Prophet ﷺ directs us toward what is best: the best deeds, the best character, the best use of our time, the best treatment of others.

Shaytan would rather convince you to shrink your ambitions and to think of this as arrogance...

“Don’t aim too high. Stay average. Blend in. Don’t strive too much.”

But Islam calls us to Ihsan...to strive for excellence with sincerity and humility, seeking Allah’s pleasure rather than people’s praise.

So as Muharram begins, don’t hold yourself back. Fast if you’re able. Raise your standards. Refine your character. Increase your worship. Pursue knowledge. Serve people better.

Being among the best isn’t about status.

It’s about answering Allah’s call with your best effort.

Your day is being shaped before your feet even touch the ground.

Contrary to popular belief, it doesn’t take much to overcome shaytan and your temptations.

With each throw you say Allahu Akbar. Indeed Allah is greater than your every whim and desire.

Because With Allah it takes little effort to shut Shaytan down and overcome your weaknesses.
