⛱ What a fantastic way to wrap up another school year!

Our Grades 2–8 students spent the day at Mont-Cascades Water Park, enjoying the sunshine, splashing through the attractions, and making lasting memories with their classmates.

The fantastic weather and excitement throughout the day made it a wonderful way to mark the end of a year filled with growth, learning, and friendship.

Thank you to our staff for helping make the day such a success.
We couldn't have asked for a better way to kick off summer.

👾🎬 Monster Club End-of-Year Celebration! 🎬👾
After another fantastic year of Monster Club, our amazing Monster Squad came together for a special End-of-Year Movie Night!

Students enjoyed an evening of fun, laughter, and friendship as they mingled and celebrated everything Monsters while watching a classic movie, The Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954)

A special thank you goes out to Ms. Pam and Mr. Alex for their time, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the year. Their dedication helped make Monster Club a fun, welcoming, and memorable experience for all of our members.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped make this another monstrously successful year. We can't wait to see what adventures next year will bring.

🎪What a Fantastic Carnival Day!

Our annual End-of-Year Carnival was filled with laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories for our students and families!

From cuddly animals at the petting zoo and endless fun on the bouncy castles to exciting games and activities, there was something for everyone to enjoy. Families also treated themselves to some delicious goodies from Frozen Flamingo
and The Almighty Cheese Food Services, making the day even sweeter!

A special thank you goes out to Party Time Rentals, Full of Beans, our incredible volunteers, and our dedicated staff members whose hard work and enthusiasm helped make this event such a tremendous success.

We are grateful to everyone who joined us in celebrating another wonderful school year and helping create such a fun-filled day for our Heritage Academy community.

📣Special Announcement: Celebrating a Remarkable Achievement

We are thrilled to congratulate Spencer Brigden, one of our outstanding Grade 11 students, on being accepted into the prestigious Shad Program.

Admission to Shad is a significant accomplishment. Each year, students from across Canada participate in a highly competitive selection process designed to identify young people who demonstrate exceptional curiosity, creativity, leadership, and a willingness to challenge themselves beyond the classroom. Spencer's achievements, character, and potential clearly stood out.

For over 40 years, Shad has brought together some of Canada's most promising students for an immersive summer experience focused on innovation, entrepreneurship, science, technology, engineering, mathematics, and leadership. Shad alumni have gone on to become Rhodes Scholars, Loran Scholars, Schulich Leaders, TD Scholars, successful entrepreneurs, researchers, and leaders in their communities and professions.

This achievement reflects Spencer's hard work, dedication, and passion for learning. We are incredibly proud of him and look forward to hearing about the experiences, discoveries, and opportunities that await him this summer.

The past week has been filled with laughter, memories, and special moments as our graduating students came together to celebrate the end of their Heritage Academy journey.

From their exciting year-end Grad Trip to a milestone celebration at the Senior Prom, our graduates had the opportunity to relax, connect with friends, and create lasting memories before embarking on their next adventures.

Adding to the excitement, some rather extreme weather conditions made both events even more memorable! Whether dodging rain, trying to stay cool, or simply making the best of every moment, our graduates demonstrated resilience, positivity, and a great sense of humour throughout it all. 🎓

Freedom Dog Rescue wants to extend a special thank you to the students at Heritage Academy for raising over $350 for our dogs in care! They worked hard to create and sell baked goods in order to fundraise for FDR as well as other non profits in Ottawa. Thank you so much for your hard work and care towards our pups! ❤️

Our Secondary Gym students enjoyed an amazing day on the water as they participated in canoeing and kayaking!

Students had the opportunity to build their paddling skills, work together as a team, and challenge themselves while exploring the outdoors.

What a fantastic way to stay active, connect with nature, and celebrate the warm weather. 🛶

The GNAG Final YOUTH DANCE is coming up, get ready for the END OF YEAR BASH JUNE 12!!
Come others at the Glebe Community centre Friday June 12 from 7:00-10:00 pm for an evening of dancing, prizes and canteen goodies!! Grade 5-8.
