It was established in 2010 with the sole purpose of providing an alternative to the standard schooling options for Muslim families in North America. One which fosters not only a strong academic foundation within each child, but also a unique method of teaching Islamic principles which our children are required to know and practice. The key focus of Tarbiyah Learning is to facilitate a positive learning environment in which students develop the love of learning from a very young age.

Grade 3 students enjoyed doing pixel art last week. MashaAllah, some of them came up with their own designs and ideas, showing great creativity and imagination. It was wonderful to see their confidence and originality in their work!

Ratio juice was measured and enjoyed in Grade 6's math class last week as the students completed their unit on Ratios! Students brought in their favorite juices and then made ratios and tasty beverages during math.

What an exciting competition TLA Gr 3 student Maher Ghaznavi won! From across Canada, students who won in their regional spelling bees came to see who is the best, and Maher won! We are happy for him and his family, and the great educators and coaches who helped him along the way!

Grade 3 enjoyed their gifts from Tr. Nadia who wished them 'Eid Mu-Baa-rak' with sheep socks! Students their first day back around the school played learning games and performed Eid-themed learning activities, like Gr 3 solving Eid word problems in math class.

Our Eid Fair Monday was a blast! With plenty of games and activities for the students and delicious food and snacks from our vendors, TLA's Eid ul Adha finished up with joy all around.
Jezak Allahu khairan to our food vendors: making works of art with their cotton candy, serving up refreshing drinks for the students and much-needed tasty lattes for parents and teachers, for their well-crafted pizza, who sold out of their wonderful ice cream quickly, and outside the amazing who brought their best smash burgers and fries!

On a dear parent set up a station where she made staff and students fresh, lovely mini pancakes and delicious waffles. She brought an array of toppings, fresh blueberries, and a delightful smile!
