Last night, we officially celebrated the opening of Carleton’s newest facility, the Clinical Skills and Simulation Centre.
This milestone marks an exciting new chapter for and for healthcare education in Ontario. In this state-of-the-art space, nursing students learn in a safe, realistic environment before practicing their clinical skills in the real-world.
Celebrating the Centre’s opening during National Nursing Week made the evening especially meaningful as we recognized the leadership, expertise, and lasting impact nurses have on healthcare in Canada.
Thank you to the faculty, staff, partners, and community members who helped bring this Centre to life. Together, we are preparing the next generation of Carleton nursing students with the confidence, skills, and experience needed to shape a stronger future for healthcare.
We also celebrated the opening of the Centre alongside generous donors whose support benefits our nursing students and strengthens programs that mirror the complexities of healthcare. Donors help us continue to deliver on our goal to prepare resilient and practice-ready nurses. Thank you to the individuals, foundations, and organizations who are supporting the future of healthcare through Carleton!
