The Saskatoon Soccer Legacy Project is working to collect, preserve, and share the stories of the players, coaches, referees, volunteers, and supporters who helped build the game in Saskatoon over the past century.

The Project was launched through the vision and dedication of an incredible volunteer committee: Jodi Blackwell, Mark Millard, David Taylor, Derek McWilliam, and Jacob Powell.

📢 Field Maintenance Notice

The City of Saskatoon has begun its annual aeration and fertilization program on Charge Multi-Purpose Fields. This work starts today and will continue over the next two weeks.

During this time, users may notice aeration cores (small plugs of soil) on fields following treatment. These will typically dry out and break down within a day or two, with regular mowing helping to disperse them quickly.

⚽️ Fields will remain open and playable during the maintenance period, although conditions may be less than ideal immediately following aeration.

Please note that there is no fixed schedule for which fields will be treated each day, as weather, irrigation issues, and equipment availability may affect the maintenance schedule.

If your team uses Charge Multi-Purpose Fields, please anticipate that your field may be aerated and fertilized at some point over the next two weeks.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as the City completes this important seasonal maintenance to keep our fields healthy and in great condition throughout the season.
