🌎 Earth Day is the perfect reminder that small actions can create big change. Whether you’re making sustainable swaps, giving back to your community, or learning something new, there are so many meaningful ways to celebrate and support the planet.
Here are 5 simple ways to celebrate Earth Day:
🌱 Plant something
Plant flowers, herbs, or even a tree to support biodiversity and bring more green into your space.
🚶 Leave the car at home
Walk, bike, carpool, or take transit to help reduce emissions and support cleaner air.
♻️ Try a plastic-free challenge
Skip single-use plastics for the day by bringing reusable bags, bottles, and containers.
🧹 Join or host a cleanup
Help keep campus clean by picking up litter and protecting local ecosystems. The Office of Sustainability supports cleanups on campus and encourages everyone to take part in caring for our shared spaces. Interested in organizing a cleanup? Reach out to learn how we can support your efforts!
📚 Learn and share
Take time to learn about an environmental issue and share what you discover to inspire action in others.
Every action—big or small—makes a difference. 🌍
