National Indigenous Peoples Day 🌿🧡

Today, we celebrate the cultures, histories, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples across Canada.

June 21 was chosen to coincide with the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, which holds significance for many Indigenous communities.

Take time today to learn, listen, and celebrate through community events, art, music, storytelling, and cultural teachings.

National Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity to honour Indigenous peoples, reflect on our shared history, and continue the work of reconciliation.
