🧡National Indigenous History Month continues throughout June and is a time to recognize the histories, cultures, and contributions of First Nations, Inuit, and Métis Peoples.

This month, the CBA is relaunching its Truth and Reconciliation Toolkit for Law Firms as the newly refreshed and expanded Truth and Reconciliation Legal Companion Guide. The guide introduces new content, including a section on the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) as well as practical ways to incorporate these principles into your practice.

The Canadian Bar Association, Saskatchewan Branch extends its congratulations to Ronald J. Kruzeniski, S.V.M., K.C. on being invested with the Saskatchewan Order of Merit.

Ron has been a valued member of CBA Saskatchewan for many years, contributing his time, expertise, and leadership to countless professional development programs and section meetings. His dedication to advancing knowledge in privacy and access law has benefited legal professionals across the province.
Even in retirement, Ron remains actively involved with the CBA, regularly participating in section activities and continuing to support the legal community.

Congratulations, Ron, on this well-deserved honour and thank you for your many contributions to the profession and to Saskatchewan. Join us in congratulating Ron in the comments below!

Last night the Canadian Bar Association hosted the President’s Dinner and Awards of Excellence with President Bianca Kratt, KC!

It was a wonderful evening full of collegiality with members of the legal community across the country and recognition for our hardworking volunteers and staff!
