⚽️ Soccer fun continued as we explored the exciting world of the World Cup! 🌍🏆

Our little athletes practiced breath control and coordination by blowing pom-poms into the soccer goal, built teamwork during indoor soccer, and learned about the important roles of the goalie, defenders, midfielders, and strikers. Watching a World Cup clip brought it all to life—they couldn't stop cheering when the goalie made an amazing save! 🥅👏

To wrap up our day, everyone designed their own trophy, celebrating creativity, confidence, and the joy of trying their best. ❤️

⚽️🌎 Our daycare soccer theme was full of movement, creativity, and fun! Children learned how a soccer ball moves **up, down, left, right, and rolls** through finger-play songs and Show & Tell. They decorated their own soccer balls, played a preschool "World Cup," and our Preschool friends explored **Letter J for Jersey**! 🎨🏆🔤

Through sports and play, children also learned the importance of **teamwork, cheering for their friends, and encouraging one another**, helping build confidence, kindness, and positive social skills. ❤️

💦☀️ With the warm temperatures outside, our children cooled off with some fun water play today!

From splashing and pouring to laughing and exploring together, the children enjoyed learning through play while making special memories with their friends. Water play encourages curiosity, problem-solving, sensory exploration, and social connections—all while keeping little bodies active and engaged.

Childhood is all about discovering, creating, and enjoying the simple joys of being together. 💙

⚽🌎 We kicked off our Soccer & World Cup theme this week with lots of active, hands-on learning! 🌎⚽

The children enjoyed listening to a soccer story, exploring and describing a soccer ball, taking turns kicking goals, and creating their own paper plate soccer balls. They also practiced tracing and colouring while building fine motor skills.

Through play-based learning, the children explored teamwork, communication, shapes, observation, and early STEM concepts—all while having lots of fun! 💚⚽

⚽💙 A special Father's Day celebration filled with play, laughter, and love!

Our little learners had so much fun playing mini soccer, singing for their dads and father figures, and creating beautiful memories together. Through play, teamwork, and connection, we celebrated the important role that fathers and father figures have in a child's life.
To all the dads and father figures: thank you for the love, encouragement, guidance, and support you give each day. Your presence helps children grow with confidence, curiosity, and a sense of belonging. 💙

Today was filled with creativity, learning, and a little secret excitement as our little learners worked on a very special surprise for their dads! 💙👔✨

The children designed colourful ties, explored patterns and colours, strengthened fine motor skills, sang “Five Little Ties” to practice counting, and used blocks to measure and compare tie lengths, introducing early STEM concepts.

A wonderful day of play-based learning, creativity, and heartfelt preparation for the special dads in our lives—we can't wait for them to see the surprise! 💫

💙🚂 Father’s Day Theme Fun! 🚂💙

Today we continued our Father’s Day theme with the story A Day with Dad, where children shared their favorite activities to do with their dads. 📚

They then enjoyed an Alphabet Train with Dad pretend play activity! As they traveled along the train tracks, they collected letters and proudly shared them with their friends. This hands-on experience supported early literacy, communication, problem-solving, and STEM learning through imaginative play. 🔤🚂

For art, the children created a special Father’s Day Feather Craft, using their creativity while strengthening fine motor skills. 🪶💙

A day filled with learning, laughter, and celebrating the special dads in our lives!

💙⭐ Father’s Day Fun Continues! ⭐💙

Today, our little learners enjoyed the felt story Daddy Monster’s Special Stars before going on an exciting classroom star hunt! As they discovered each star, they shared something special about their dad, building confidence, language, and social skills. 🌟

The children then worked together to create a giant DADDY poster, exploring big and small letter D's through collaborative, hands-on learning. They also created beautiful "I Love Dad" Dot Art, carefully choosing their dad’s favourite colour to make their artwork extra meaningful. 🎨

To finish the day, we used playdough mats to build the letter D, strengthening fine motor skills, letter recognition, and early literacy through play-based STEAM learning.

What a wonderful day celebrating the special dads and father figures in our lives! 💙

Today during circle time, we enjoyed reading a Curious George story and the children had lots of fun engaging in pretend play with our Curious George soft toy.

For our Father’s Day theme, the children created special handprint artwork for their dads. It was a wonderful day filled with imagination, creativity, and love! 💙👣

🌊🐚 Our Ocean Adventure Continues! 🐚🌊

Today we explored seashells through play, discovery, and creativity! We enjoyed our Five Little Seashells felt story, investigated a large seashell using our senses, and shared what we noticed about its texture, shape, and smell. 🔍🐚

At the sensory table, children searched for seashells and sorted them by size, building early math and STEM skills. We also painted and decorated seashells with glitter, adding sparkle to our ocean creations. ✨🎨🐚 One of our favorite moments was pretending a large seashell was a telephone and chatting with friends! ☎️🐚

Learning comes alive through hands-on exploration, creativity, and play. 💙
