What an amazing year it has been in Junior Kindergarten at Kelly’s!🎉💛

We have had so much fun learning, playing, exploring, creating, and growing together. Every day was filled with smiles, laughter, and special memories.

We are so proud of all that our JK students have accomplished this year. Watching their confidence, kindness, and curiosity blossom has been such a joy!

We will miss each and every one of these wonderful little learners, but we know they are ready for their next adventure. 🌟

What a wonderful visit Smarties had from Officer Dhesi! 👮‍♂️🚓 We learned about the important role police officers play in helping and protecting our community. The children enjoyed asking questions, exploring police equipment, and learning about safety.

Thank you so much to Officer Dhesi for spending time with us and sharing all about your important job. We loved having you visit our classroom! 💙🚔

Smarties had a special visit from Firefighter Doug! 🚒🔥 He taught us all about fire safety, including what to do in an emergency, how firefighters help keep our community safe, and the importance of having a fire escape plan.

A big THANK YOU to Firefighter Doug for taking the time to visit our classroom and share his knowledge with us. We had so much fun learning and asking questions! ❤️👨‍🚒🚒

The portable’s Jr.kindergartens became chefs for a day and made pasta for lunch 🍝 and created our very own first aid kits while learning about community helpers and the important roles they play in keeping us safe! 🚑

National Donut Day! Friday was a little sweeter with sprinkles and extra smiles. 🍩💕

The centre has been busy this Spring prepping seeds for planting, creating rainbows using a secret ingredient, and celebrating Earth Day with a delicious, healthy snack.

Theme: Community Helpers 🚒👮‍♂️ 🧑‍🍳


We had an exciting time exploring the world of community helpers! We were lucky to meet a firefighter 🚒 and a police officer 👮‍♂️, who taught us about the important ways they help keep our community safe. We also stepped into the role of bakers 🧑‍🍳🍪, using our creativity to decorate cookies.
As we learn about the many people who help our community thrive ❤️, we are inspired to dream big about our own futures ✨. The possibilities are endless, and we can't wait to see all the amazing things these little learners will become! 🌟🎓💫

Theme: Pond 🐸🌿


During these past two weeks we headed out on a nature walk, stopping to smell the flowers and admire a sweet little family of snails along the way 🐌💚
Back indoors, we kept the pond theme going with a fun snack and got creative making our very own duck puppets 🦆✨

The past couple of weeks our little stars stretched and sparkled with Disney-themed yoga 🧘‍♀️—channeling their inner heroes and princesses! Then we cozied up for some giggles with Boss Baby 🎬
To top it all off, we checked on our growing “beanstalks” 🌱—and guess what? They’re reaching for the sky just like our dreams! 💫
