🏆🇨🇦 **TEAM BC IS HEADING TO TORONTO!** 🇨🇦🏆

The countdown is on!

On June 7, 2026, six outstanding students from British Columbia will take the national stage at the UCMAS Canadian National Competition at the CAA Centre in Toronto, representing not only their centres but all of Team BC.

These students have earned the opportunity to compete against some of the best young minds from across Canada through their dedication, hard work, and perseverance.

What makes this year even more special is that this is the first BC contingent travelling to the Canadian Nationals since COVID, making this a memorable milestone for our province and our UCMAS community.

BC students have a proud history of success on the national stage:

🏅 Lexi Ong – Canadian National Listening Champion & Flash Champion (2018)
🏅 Brynelle Tesalona – Canadian Listening Champion & 1st Runner-Up Flash (2019)
🏅 Young Liu – Canadian Flash Champion (2024)

These achievements remind us that BC students can compete with the very best in the country.

As our students head to Toronto, our wish is not only that they bring back trophies and honours for British Columbia, but that they represent Team BC with confidence, sportsmanship, determination, and pride. Most importantly, we hope they enjoy every moment of this incredible experience and create memories that will last a lifetime.
