So excited to have been featured in the Montreal based magazine for Italian-Canadians. This was such a wonderful way to experience and share my journey as a second generation. Be sure to enjoy an espresso when picking up your copy of Panoram.

Thought it was time I properly introduced myself—I’ve been around for a while!
My last name is pronounced like the board game Yahtzee (for anyone who hasn’t mastered Italian vowels yet 😂). I’m about to celebrate 2 years with my husband—we got married back home in Italy surrounded by the people we love most. His energy for life and chasing dreams is contagious.
I have a degree in French and Italian Studies, a B.Ed, and a Master of Ed. My journey to teaching wasn’t typical: I started in banking, calling clients in France on Saturdays. That’s when I began making my own vocab sheets… and unknowingly took my first steps toward TPT.
When it came time to choose between climbing the corporate ladder or teaching, I followed my gut. I started off as an Italian instructor and never looked back. I finished my practicum on May 4 and started my first LTO in Grade 1 FI just three days later.
Early on, I noticed students with special needs lacked French-language supports. Everything was in English—and it just wasn’t working. So I started making my own resources. Then I shared them. One day, I walked into a colleague’s room and saw my work laminated on the wall. I felt that in a small way I was helping teachers survive the every day, the last minute scrambles and the unexpected tomorrows.
I travel often and intentionally, always thinking: how can this connect back to my students? Whether they’re 6 or 16, they want to feel connected—and that’s what I aim to do.
My niche on TPT? Spotting the gaps—then building something that works. I design resources that can be used again and again in new ways, across themes and grades. That’s what makes my platform unique.
From day one, I’ve poured my heart into this—getting feedback, refining, and trusting that when your intentions are good, God will lead the way.
Follow your heart so your dreams can be realized. Learning a language is a beautiful thing.
