Since 1894, Havergal has been championing student dreams. At Friday Night Lights, we shine the spotlight on girls' sport, where the next generation of game-changers are already on the field.

As our community members prepare for their summer experiences across Canada and the globe, we’d like to reflect on the quotes in this year's "Students Speak" section of Torch magazine. We asked students the simple but profound question: "How has Havergal prepared you to be a global citizen?" Their answers were truly inspiring. From hands-on community service and food drives to the lessons learned through our various leadership programs, students shared how they're taking what they've learned inside the classroom and turning it into meaningful action in the real world. This morning the Class of 2026 gathered for the last time as students and became our newest Old Girls/Alums at our Graduation ceremony! The ceremony celebrated our Grads and their achievements and included a welcome from the Havergal Old Girls Association and a presentation of a cheque for the Graduating Class Gift, for which the Class of 2026 raised $206,173.89 for the Ahead of the Game campaign—the most ever raised by a graduating class. Grade 12 students who are involved in the Arts during their time at the Upper School were honoured today at our Arts Awards Reception! In addition to the certificate presentations, we enjoyed a performance from some of our musicians. Congrats to all of our talented students who participate in the Arts at Havergal!

Graduation is tomorrow and we're proud to celebrate the incredible achievements of our Class of 2026. Though they may be leaving our ivy walls, we know their future is in good hands as they continue their studies at exceptional universities from around the world—they had over 650 admission offers globally to choose from, including 10 from prestigious Ivy League schools!
