What a night in Rexdale.

Mothers stood up and told the truth about what Doug Ford’s cuts are doing to their children’s schools.

Not in downtown Toronto.

Not at Queen’s Park.

Right in the heart of Ford country.

Their message was simple:

Enough.

Enough cuts.
Enough excuses.
Protect Model Schools.
Protect public education.

Parents are organizing. Communities are speaking out. And many are demanding that this government reverse the cuts before more damage is done.

Powerful voices. Powerful stories.

And we’re just getting started.

See you again soon, Rexdale. ✊🏿❤️

What a beautiful reminder of what public education looks like when communities come together. ❤️✊🏾📚

On Sunday, hundreds of educators, education workers, parents, students, and community members gathered to celebrate public education and to speak honestly about the challenges facing our schools.

There was music, laughter, great conversations, children playing, and powerful performances—including from the ETT Choir—all while building connections and sharing a common commitment to strong, well-funded public services.

Thank you to everyone who came out and to all the volunteers and organizers who made this incredible day possible. Your energy and solidarity made it something truly special.

Public education is worth celebrating. Public education is worth defending.

Together, we’re stronger. 🎶🍔☀️
