Yes Brené Brown - but what if we don’t remember our stories.. or know if they are accurate .. wish I had journaled more often! All good data.. but so many missing pieces...
Not having a big family to hold you accountable, bee vulnerable about their view, to how the story actually was, has been an interesting investigation.. truths are lost.
Can / Should you convince someone that their version of “the story” is not correct.. or just sit back on your heals - listen - learn - you may also have inaccurate memories. This book would pair well with “Tell yourself a better lie” Marisa Peer

My mom did her homework at this desk.. it needs some loving, the stool was bought at auction before I was born for my dad’s workshop.. where I sat on it many times, until I took it for my own, when we moved to Abbotsofrd, I have painted , stripped it, re glued it, when - I had a new home to bring it too.. seems like it will now become dark blue.. I love things with stories.. look forward to creating new ones as well!
