Members of the ECL attended the Working in Good Ways (WIGW) symposium last week. It was wonderful to hear and learn from three land-based educators, providing a variety of backgrounds and experiences. Our very own AJ Spence was among one of the panelists, sharing stories and advice.
The latest edition of the WIGW framework guide and handbook is available for purchase at the UM bookstore if you or your workplace is interested!

An energy transition is happening in Manitoba. Is it the one we want? Is it the one we need?
Manitoba Hydro’s 10-year energy plan is before the Public Utilities Board right now, and the PUB is accepting public submissions. The proposed $3 billion in gas turbines and no added solar are just two of the serious questions being raised about this plan.
Join on June 4th at noon for a free webinar featuring three subject matter experts and a walkthrough of exactly how to make your own submission before the June 18th deadline.
Your voice actually has an impact here.
No expertise is required, just thoughts and/or feelings about Manitoba’s energy future.
