National Indigenous Peoples Day is an opportunity to recognize the First Nations, Inuit and Métis Peoples whose cultures, languages, knowledge systems and stories continue to shape this land.
Stories carry history, identity and community. They connect generations, challenge misconceptions and help ensure Indigenous voices are heard on their own terms.
Today, we honour the storytellers, creators, Elders, Knowledge Keepers and community members who continue this work every day.
As a settler organization, we remain committed to supporting Indigenous-led storytelling and creating opportunities for Indigenous voices to be seen, heard and valued.
