Building bonds that last a lifetime!

On May our Big Brother/Big Sister Program brought together Senior and Primary students for a special day of connection and friendship.
These meaningful moments between our older and younger students are what make TIPS more than just a school; they make us a family.

At TIPS, English isn't just a subject. It's a way of life.

We don't just want our students to speak English. We want them to dream in English, listen to their favorite music, watch series, and think in English, without needing translation.

When a language becomes part of your daily routine, it stops feeling foreign. It becomes your natural voice. And that means that, anywhere in the world, they won't communicate like visitors, but rather feel like part of the community.

In Chile, this level of total immersion seemed unattainable. At TIPS, it's our everyday reality. Through authentic and immersive experiences, we develop globally confident students who not only learn English, but live it.

This isn't a distant dream. It's how we prepare them for the world.

What a SWEET success!

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who made our Charity Club Bake Sale on May 15th such an incredible success!
From the bottom of our hearts, we want to thank:
-Our amazing student volunteers who donated their homemade treats
-Our generous TIPS community who came with open hearts (and empty stomachs!)
-Our dedicated Charity Club for organizing this wonderful event

More than just a bake sale... Today wasn't just about raising funds for a great cause, it was about something even sweeter: raising children with big hearts.

Seeing our students dedicate their time, share their talents, and contribute to helping others reminds us that we are not only educating minds, but cultivating compassionate and caring individuals who care about making a difference in the world..

Every treat sold, every smile shared, and every act of kindness today showed us the true power of community.

Together, we proved that small acts of kindness create BIG change!

Math Day 2026: A Global Journey!

On May 12th, TIPS transformed into a Global Math Pavilion, where numbers met culture, history, and creativity!
Our students became math ambassadors, hosting interactive stands featuring:
-Famous mathematicians from around the world
-Hands-on puzzles, games & challenges
-Cultural connections to mathematical ideas

With their Math Passports in hand, our learners traveled through time and continents, collecting stickers and discoveries along the way.
This wasn't just about solving problems, it was about seeing how math connects us all.

Watch the highlights and see our TIPS community exploring, creating, and celebrating mathematics together!

Our parent-teacher conferences (PTCs) are more than just get-togethers; they're true partnerships. At The International Preparatory School, we design these meetings to provide families with valuable and timely information about their children's academic and social-emotional development and to project personalized progress for each student. ¡Share a Sunset, Share a Moment!

Our TIPS Community is creating something special for Art Day, and we want YOU to be part of it!

We're inviting all students, parents, teachers, and staff to share a photograph of a sunset that speaks to you. Whether it's one you captured, one from a loved one, or an image that inspires you—every sunset tells a story, and together, we'll create a collective art installation that celebrates the beauty our community sees every day.

¿How to participate?
-Choose a sunset photo (sun or sky as the main focus)
-Send it to [email protected]
Be part of something beautiful!

Deadline: May 18th (that's this Sunday!)
Let's paint our Art Day with the colors of our community's skies. Can't wait to see the sunsets you share!

Beyond the classroom, learning comes alive.

On May 8, our Seniors experienced education in motion during an interdisciplinary field trip to Matucana 100 Cultural Center and Museo Artequin.

This wasn’t just a day out, it was a living lesson. Students engaged with the theatre play “Orélie, El Rey Sin Reino,” then stepped into Museo Artequin to explore the Bauhaus movement, actively connecting art, history, and cultural context. Every moment was intentionally designed to spark critical thinking, creative inquiry, and real-world understanding.

At TIPS, we believe education shouldn’t be confined to textbooks or four walls. While many schools teach about culture, we step into it. These immersive, cross-curricular experiences shape curious, empathetic, and globally aware learners, equipped not just with knowledge, but with the mindset to navigate and enrich the world beyond graduation.

Swipe through to relive the day’s highlights.
