At noon on May 25, nearly 60 members of the Class of 2026 returned to the middle school campus for a warm homecoming event. Following tradition, the school also held its 'Pao Trailblazers' event for those who had spent twelve years at the school.

May brings a double celebration to our community! Two of our students have achieved outstanding honors on the newly released 2026 scholarship rolls of top UK schools:
Ethan Li has been awarded the prestigious Major Scholarship at Wi******er College.
B M X Ong (alumni) has been named a King’s Scholar at Eton College.
The academic scholarships of these historic institutions are world-renowned for their rigorous selection and fierce competition. Congratulations to the students and their family.

The Middle School Competitive Sports team exists to prepare young people for life, not just to train winners. Through practices, tryouts, losses and victories, student athletes learn communication, responsibility, teamwork, resilience and belonging. As Director of Athletics Philibert Vandersleyen puts it, "Sports teach what classrooms alone cannot: either you win or you learn in a game." The aim is to build complete student‑athletes who pursue excellence within a caring community — promoting healthy lifestyles, sportsmanship, and leadership skills that extend beyond life on campus.

On May 23, to the stirring beat of Zhoushan gongs and drums, the Pao School Class of 2026 joyfully celebrated their graduation. Teachers, families and friends gathered—cheering and applauding—as graduates bade farewell to high school and stepped confidently into the next chapter of their lives. Professor Anna Pao Sohmen, Chairman of the Board, attended the ceremony and offered her blessings and best wishes to the graduates. Congratulations, Class of 2026: May every graduate, from this moment on, carry compassion, integrity, and balance as they journey toward a broader future.

5月23日，在激昂的舟山锣鼓声中，包校2026届高中毕业生迎来了属于他们的毕业典礼。师生与家长齐聚一堂，共同见证学子们告别中学时光，迈向人生新阶段。理事长包陪庆教授亲临现场，为毕业生们送上祝福与期许。愿每一位毕业生以此刻为起点，带着仁、义、平，奔赴更广阔的未来。

The Pao Student Seminar is a high school student-led forum for educational sharing and exchange. Covering a wide range of topics, it lets curiosity and interest extend far beyond class textbooks. No subject is too niche for it. Since its founding, it has held seven sessions, with more than fourteen students taking the stage to present their ideas.
