SCIS Alumni

Since 2016, Lucca, Jaiden, Chris, and Bebe Jacobs have proudly called SCIS home before it was time to repatriate back to the United States over the summer. Despite facing a global pandemic, these SCIS dragons have persevered through a long journey home to settle back to their native California.

They share with us their experience transitioning back, as well as the importance of continuing Mandarin language learning and how SCIS has helped prepare them along the way.

A huge congratulations to our very own Cindy Chen (HQ Class of 2020) for scoring a perfect 45 out of 45 in this year's IB exams and, subsequently, getting into her dream university, the University of Cambridge !

Cindy has been calling SCIS home since starting in pre-kindergarten in 2006. Now, 14 years on since her first day of school, she will be making her way to her dream school to pursue an undergraduate degree in Psychological and Behavioral Sciences.

Way to go Cindy!

A third culture kid from birth, Anaïs Gallet (SCIS Pudong Class of 2013) is no stranger to international life.

In the latest spotlight, we catch up with her as she talks about how growing up internationally has impacted her life. Anaïs also shares how she ended up working at PwC, one of the "Big Four" accounting firms (Deloitte, Ernst & Young, KPMG, and PwC).

SCIS alumnus, Gabriel Melo (SCIS Pudong Class of 2012), is a freelance documentary photographer who uses his art to tell stories.
