🥐 Paris–Normandie Trip - Day 1 and 2🥐

After arriving at Charles de Gaulle Airport and checking in to the hotel, pupils on our Paris-Normandie Trip headed straight to one of Paris’ most iconic landmarks: the Eiffel Tower! 🗼

The bravest pupils climbed all 674 steps to the second floor on foot - bravo à eux! 👏💪

They ended the day with a wonderful dinner cruise on the Seine, enjoying delicious food and breathtaking views of the Parisian skyline. ✨🚢

Monday 22nd June was a memorable and thought-provoking day as our Paris-Normandie Trip pupils visited the Caen Memorial and the historic D-Day Omaha Beach. These powerful sites gave the pupils a deeper understanding of the events of World War II and the sacrifices made for freedom.

The day continued with a completely different but equally unforgettable experience: La Fête de la Musique! 🎶
Across France, musicians, dancers and DJs filled the streets, sharing their passion and talent with everyone. The atmosphere was vibrant, joyful and full of energy.

From reflecting on history to celebrating music and culture, Day 2 was packed with learning, discovery and fun.
Pupils and teacher alike had an amazing time and are looking forward to the adventures still to come!
