A few weeks ago, I asked for your support for my friend Lucy, who has been struggling with a complex illness called MCAS.

First of all, thank you. We are incredibly grateful for every donation, share, and kind message. It's amazing to see how many people are willing to help someone they've never even met.

Here's a small update: thanks to your generosity, Lucy has been feeling a little better recently. She was also able to purchase special food for her cat, who depends on a veterinary diet.

There is still a long road ahead. Lucy continues to face medical expenses and bills that accumulated during the months when her illness made it impossible for her to work.

If you would like to help, please visit:

Thank you for being part of Team Lucy. 🧡
Děkujeme!!

What's the difference between "schůzka" and "setkání"? And can you use these words to say you have an appointment with your hairdresser?

No.

When you have an appointment with a specialist (doctor, dentist or even a hairdresser), you should use a different phrase:

👉🏼 být objednaný/á ke kadeřnici / k doktorovi
👉🏼 být objednaný/á u kadeřnice / u doktora

Jsem objednaný k doktorovi.
I have a doctor's appointment.
