Once again, it has been a record year for . We have already surpassed the number of entries for 2025 and are very proud that 36 publishers from 23 countries across Europe have participated.

For the jury, the hard work starts now — but also the pleasure of discovering so many interesting and innovative titles. This year’s entries once again show the remarkable diversity of educational publishing in Europe: print, hybrid and digital products, with or without AI components, all reflecting new ideas about teaching and learning.

The shortlist will be published on 5 August, and the prize-giving ceremony for the winners will be held at the Frankfurter Buchmesse on 7 October.

There are just over five weeks remaining until the application deadline for the BELMA awards. There is still ample time to submit your educational products, whether digital, hybrid or print-based by May 27th.

We welcome submissions for all age groups and across all subject areas. Each entry will be carefully evaluated by our distinguished jury of eight academics and practitioners, who apply the well-established BELMA criteria to ensure a fair and thorough assessment.
