Taking educational robotics global 🤖🌍 This semester, our BSc Finance and Management students teamed up with ASTOR - Technology Meets People to develop a full international market expansion strategy for Astorino, an educational robotics solution built in collaboration with Kawasaki Robotics.
Four student teams tackled everything from market selection and customer segmentation to strategic partnerships and a concrete international growth roadmap. And the learning didn’t stop in the classroom. The teams also visited BTI Neuss for a hands-on look at industrial automation and got to interact with the Astorino robot firsthand. 🙌
The final presentations on campus were attended in person by ASTOR CEO Jaroslaw Gracel and the feedback spoke for itself. A huge thank you to the ASTOR and Astorino team for this inspiring collaboration at the crossroads of technology, education, and global business!

Welcome to Germany during the World Cup 🇩🇪⚽ Where the normally punctual, reserved German turns into a flag-waving, horn-honking football expert overnight. Consider this your official survival guide. And if you haven’t heard „SCHLAAAAAND“ echoing through your building yet, just wait. 😅

Meet Nataly, one of our students who chose South Korea for her semester abroad and returned with memories for a lifetime. 🌸
From navigating the visa process and finding the right accommodation, to discovering the best local spots and experiencing everything from the most relaxed to the most demanding classes, she took it all on with an open mind and an open heart.
„A semester abroad that became one of the best experiences of my life 🇰🇷✨So grateful for all the memories, people, and moments South Korea gave me. I hope my experience can inspire and help future exchange students 🫶🏼“
Stories like are exactly why we love seeing our students go out into the world. 🌍

When strategy meets purpose. 💧 Over the past weeks, our Master Global Finance students worked on a meaningful challenge: developing Go-To-Market strategies for a dry soap intended for use in international development cooperation.
Six groups brought six different approaches to the table, from market positioning to distribution planning. The highlight: presenting their findings directly to the leadership team of Save the Water GmbH CEO Tim Nixdorff, inventor Dr. Peter Schneider, Boris Staab, Thomas Olek and Giulia Winden in the company’s boardroom. No pressure, right? 😅
A fantastic opportunity to combine strategic thinking, creativity, and social responsibility in a real business setting.

CBS Guest Lecture Series 2026: Bridging Academia and Business 🌍
Over the past months, our CBS Guest Lecture Series once again brought real-world business expertise directly to our campus. Industry leaders and experts shared hands-on insights, strategic thinking and honest career advice with our students.
Across all lectures, one message came through clearly: technical knowledge is essential, but curiosity, adaptability and the willingness to bridge strategy and technology make the real difference. As Prof. Dr. Ulrich Anders, host of the series, puts it: „It is a privilege to collaborate with so many renowned companies as part of our unique CBS guest lecture series. Their contributions play a vital role in helping students develop a broad yet deep understanding of business models and their diverse applications across industries.“
Thank you to all our speakers and to Prof. Dr. Ulrich Anders for continuously fostering this strong exchange between academia and business! 🙌

Dominique swapped Cologne for the City of Light and what a semester it was! 🇫🇷 As part of his International Business programme, .kllr. spent a semester in Paris, and it’s safe to say the experience delivered on every level.
From navigating the morning Métro rush to winding down at a tiny bistro with wine and a cheese platter, life in Paris quickly became more than just studying abroad. New friends, a different teaching culture, French business practices first-hand, and finally putting all those French language classes to proper use.
Dominique’s advice? Take the chance. You’ll forever miss the boulangeries and pâtisseries, but that’s a risk worth taking.

Guest Lecture with crossconsulting 💼🏦 We were delighted to welcome Marius Müller Frank and Paul Maurice Lehman from crossconsulting to our CBS Guest Lecture Series, hosted by Prof. Ulrich Anders.
The Cologne-based consulting company specializes in banking, insurance, finance, related software, and venture capital. In their insightful session, Marius and Paul Maurice showed our students how consulting actually works – from generating fees and managing complex projects to bridging the gap between business and technology in the financial sector.
Their advice to our students? Build expertise in a specific area, it always makes sense.
Thank you, Marius and Paul Maurice, for this practical and engaging session! 🙌
