Im Rahmen des Verbundprojektes „Weizenbaum-Institut für die vernetzte Gesellschaft – Das Deutsche Internet Institut“ in Berlin ist eine Stelle als Akademische/-r Mitarbeiter/in (75%) zu besetzen. Die Stelle ist für die Mitarbeit in der Forschungsgruppe „Digitale Integration“ vorgesehen. Die thematischen Schwerpunkte liegen im Bereich „Digitalisierung und gesellschaftlicher Zusammenhalt“ und/oder „Nutzung von digitalen Technologien durch vulnerable Bevölkerungsgruppen (Migrant/-innen, Kinder, Jugendliche)“

Dr. Fenne große Deters offered a workshop on the topic "Introductory Workshop: Experimental Research in Information Systems" in the context of the 15th International Business Informatics Congress (WI2020).

During the 15th International Business Informatics Congress (WI2020) that took place at the University of Potsdam, Dr. Antonia Köster presented the paper “Missing Out on Life: Parental Perceptions of Children’s Mobile Technology Use”.
The paper was co-authored by: Cora Bergert, Antonia Köster, Hanna Krasnova (University of Potsdam), and Ofir Turel (California State University).

Prof. Dr. Hanna Krasnova is co-chairing the 15th International Business Informatics Congress in Potsdam, Germany.

The participation of our group members at the Junior Faculty Workshop at the International Conference of Information Systems (ICIS 2019), which is taking place in Munich Germany.

Our research groups are pleased to host the Method Workshop on Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses held by Dr. Douglas Parry that took place at the Weizenbaum Institute in Berlin. Thank you for the great insights, Dr. Parry.

Participating at the International Journalist Delegation at the Weizenbaum Institute in the context of Berlin Science Week and Falling Walls Conference in Berlin.

Today, at the AMCIS 2019 conference, our group member Safa'a AbuJarour moderated a panel discussion under the topic “Turning the Dark Side of Social Media Bright! The Case of Immigration in the USA and Germany” and was joined by our Digital Integration group lead Antonia Köster, together with Jane Fedorowicz from Bentley University and Haya Ajjan from Elon University. Congratulations on the successful panel discussion 👍

Our team member and chair holder Prof. Dr. Hanna Krasnova participated in the welcome ceremony for this year’s DAAD scholarship holders. During the panel discussion on “Open Science – Open Societies: Weltweit vernetzt für globale Herausforderungen”, she shared her insights along representatives of other educational institutions from Berlin and Potsdam. We say thanks to DAAD for inviting us, and wish all the scholarship holders the best of luck and every success in their future endeavors! And who knows, maybe we’ll be seeing some of you in our bachelor or master courses at Campus Griebnitzsee…:)
