နိုင်ငံခြားမှာ ကျောင်းဆက်တက်ဖို့ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ ပြည်တွင်းက private တက္ကသိုလ်တွေ တက်ဖို့ပဲဖြစ်ဖြစ် စဉ်းစားနေတဲ့ ကျောင်းသား/သူတွေနဲ့ မိဘတွေအတွက် GED, IGCSE နဲ့ SAT ဆိုတာ အမြဲကြားနေရတဲ့ နာမည်တွေပါ။
ဒါပေမဲ့ ဘယ်ဟာက ကိုယ့်အတွက် အကိုက်ညီဆုံးလဲဆိုတာ ဝေခွဲမရဖြစ်နေရင် ဒီ post လေးက အဖြေပေးပါလိမ့်မယ်။

၁။ GED (General Educational Development)
GED ကတော့ အထက်တန်းအောင်လက်မှတ်နဲ့ ညီမျှတဲ့ အမေရိကန်စံနှုန်းမီ စာမေးပွဲဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အကြောင်းအမျိုးမျိုးကြောင့် ဆယ်တန်း (သို့) အထက်တန်း ပညာရေးမပြီးဆုံးလိုက်သူတွေအတွက် "အတိုဖြတ်လမ်း" လို့လည်း ခေါ်ကြပါတယ်။
ဘာသာရပ်: ၄ ဘာသာ (Maths, Science, Social Studies, RLA)။
အားသာချက်: အချိန်တိုအတွင်း ဖြေဆိုအောင်မြင်နိုင်တယ် (၃ လကနေ ၆ လဝန်းကျင်)။ အသက် ၁၆ နှစ်ပြည့်ရင် ဖြေလို့ရပါပြီ။
ဘယ်သူတွေအတွက်လဲ: US, Canada နဲ့ ထိုင်းနိုင်ငံက တက္ကသိုလ်တွေကို မြန်မြန်သွားချင်သူတွေအတွက် အဆင်ပြေဆုံးပါ။

၂။ IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education)
IGCSE ကတော့ ဗြိတိန် (UK) စနစ်ဖြစ်ပြီး ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝန်းက အသိအမှတ်အပြုဆုံး အထက်တန်းအဆင့် စာမေးပွဲပါ။
ဘာသာရပ်: မိမိတက်ချင်တဲ့ မေဂျာအလိုက် ၅ ဘာသာကနေ ၇ ဘာသာအထိ ရွေးချယ်ဖြေဆိုနိုင်ပါတယ်။
အားသာချက်: အခြေခံကစပြီး စနစ်တကျ သင်ယူရတဲ့အတွက် Foundation အရမ်းကောင်းပါတယ်။ UK, EU, US, Australia, Singapore စတဲ့ နိုင်ငံစုံက တက္ကသိုလ်တွေ လက်ခံပါတယ်။
ဘယ်သူတွေအတွက်လဲ: အချိန်ပေးပြီး အခြေခံကနေ သင်ယူချင်သူတွေအတွက်ပါ။

၃။ SAT (Scholastic Aptitude Test)
SAT ကတော့ အထက်တန်းအောင်လက်မှတ် မဟုတ်ပါဘူး။ သူက တက္ကသိုလ်ဝင်ခွင့် အရည်အချင်းစစ် စာမေးပွဲ (Entrance Exam) ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။
ဘာသာရပ်: Reading, Writing နဲ့ Mathematics ကို စစ်ဆေးပါတယ်။
အားသာချက်: အမေရိကန် ထိပ်တန်းတက္ကသိုလ်တွေနဲ့ Scholarship လျှောက်မယ့်သူတွေအတွက် မရှိမဖြစ်လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။
ဘယ်သူတွေအတွက်လဲ: GED (သို့) IGCSE အောင်ပြီးနောက် Ivy League လိုမျိုး ကျောင်းကြီးတွေကို ရည်မှန်းထားသူတွေအတွက်ပါ။

ဘယ်လမ်းကြောင်းကို ရွေးရမလဲ?
~ မြန်မြန်အောင်ပြီး တက္ကသိုလ်တက်ချင်ရင် GED ကို ရွေးပါ။
~ ပညာရေးအခြေခံကောင်းကောင်းနဲ့ နိုင်ငံစုံသွားချင်ရင် IGCSE ကို ရွေးပါ။
~ Top University တွေဝင်ဖို့နဲ့ Scholarship လိုချင်ရင် SAT ကို ထပ်ဖြေပါ။
မိမိတက်ချင်တဲ့ တက္ကသိုလ်နဲ့ မေဂျာပေါ်မူတည်ပြီး သေချာတိုင်ပင်ဆွေးနွေးပြီးမှ ရွေးချယ်ဖို့ အကြံပြုပါရစေ။
ဒီ post လေးက ကျောင်းသားတွေအတွက် အထောက်အကူဖြစ်မယ်လို့ မျှော်လင့်ပါတယ်။ သိချင်တာရှိရင် comment မှာ မေးခဲ့လို့ ရပါတယ်ဗျ။

ကမ္ဘာတစ်ဝှမ်းမှာ လူသုံးအများဆုံးနဲ့ နာမည်အကြီးဆုံး ပညာရေးစနစ် (၄) ခုကို နှိုင်းယှဉ်ကြည့်ရအောင်။ အဓိကကတော့ IB (International)၊ EB (European)၊ UK (A-Levels) နဲ့ US (AP/High School Diploma) တို့ပဲ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

🌍 ၁။ International Baccalaureate (IB) - "ဘက်စုံတော်ရမည်"

ပုံစံ: ဘာသာရပ် ၆ ခုကို အုပ်စုအလိုက် မျှတအောင် ယူရပါတယ်။ (သိပ္ပံ၊ သင်္ချာ၊ ဘာသာစကား၊ လူမှုရေး စသဖြင့်)။
အားသာချက်: ဝေဖန်ပိုင်းခြားတွေးခေါ်မှု (Critical Thinking) နဲ့ သုတေသနလုပ်ငန်းတွေကို အသားပေးပါတယ်။ တက္ကသိုလ်ရောက်ရင် Research Paper ရေးရတာတွေအတွက် အသင့်ဖြစ်နေစေပါတယ်။
စိန်ခေါ်မှု: စာအရမ်းများပါတယ်။ စာမေးပွဲအပြင် Community Service (CAS) နဲ့ စာတမ်းရှည် (Extended Essay) တွေပါ လုပ်ရလို့ အချိန်စီမံခန့်ခွဲမှု အရမ်းကောင်းဖို့ လိုပါတယ်။

🇪🇺 ၂။ European Baccalaureate (EB) - "ဥရောပအသားပေး"
ဒါကတော့ ဥရောပသမဂ္ဂ (EU) နိုင်ငံတွေရဲ့ နိုင်ငံတကာကျောင်း (European Schools) တွေမှာပဲ သီးသန့်သင်တဲ့ စနစ်ပါ။
ပုံစံ: ဘာသာစကား (၂) မျိုးထက်မနည်း တတ်မြောက်ဖို့ အတင်းအကျပ် လိုအပ်ပါတယ်။ သိပ္ပံနဲ့ သင်္ချာကိုလည်း အခြေခံမပါမဖြစ် သင်ရပါတယ်။
အားသာချက်: ဥရောပတက္ကသိုလ်တွေကို တက်ဖို့အတွက် အကောင်းဆုံး လမ်းကြောင်းပါ။ ဥရောပယဉ်ကျေးမှုနဲ့ ဘာသာစကားမှာ ထူးချွန်သွားစေပါတယ်။
စိန်ခေါ်မှု: ဘာသာစကားအရမ်းတော်ဖို့ လိုပြီး ဥရောပပြင်ပက တက္ကသိုလ်တွေမှာတော့ IB လောက် လူသိမများသေးပါဘူး။

🇬🇧 ၃။ UK Curriculum (A-Levels) - "အထူးပြု ကျွမ်းကျင်ရမည်"
ဗြိတိန်စနစ်ကတော့ "Depth over Breadth" ကို သွားတာပါ။
ပုံစံ: ဘာသာရပ် ၃ ခု သို့မဟုတ် ၄ ခုပဲ ယူရပါတယ်။ ကိုယ်သွားချင်တဲ့ အသက်မွေးဝမ်းကျောင်းနဲ့ ဆိုင်တာကိုပဲ ဇောက်ချသင်ရတာပါ။ (ဥပမာ- ဆရာဝန်ဖြစ်ချင်ရင် Bio, Chem, Physics ပဲ ယူတာမျိုး)။
အားသာချက်: ကိုယ်မကြိုက်တဲ့ ဘာသာရပ်တွေကို စောစောစီးစီး စွန့်လွှတ်လို့ရပြီး ကိုယ်တော်တဲ့အရာမှာ အစွမ်းကုန် ကျွမ်းကျင်နိုင်ပါတယ်။
စိန်ခေါ်မှု: အသက် ၁၆ နှစ်မှာတင် ဘာလုပ်မလဲဆိုတာကို အပိုင်ဆုံးဖြတ်ထားဖို့ လိုပါတယ်။ နောက်မှ လမ်းကြောင်းပြောင်းဖို့ ခက်နိုင်ပါတယ်။

🇺🇸 ၄။ US Curriculum (AP / High School Diploma) - "လွတ်လပ်ပြီး စိတ်ကြိုက်ရွေးချယ်နိုင်"
အမေရိကန်စနစ်ကတော့ ကျောင်းသားရဲ့ စိတ်ဝင်စားမှုနဲ့ ပါဝင်မှုကို ပိုဦးစားပေးပါတယ်။
ပုံစံ: အတန်းတက်မှန်ဖို့၊ အိမ်စာလုပ်ဖို့နဲ့ Class participation က အမှတ်အများကြီးရပါတယ်။ ပိုတော်ချင်တဲ့သူတွေက Advanced Placement (AP) ဆိုတဲ့ ခက်တဲ့ဘာသာရပ်တွေကို ယူပြီး တက္ကသိုလ် Credit ကြိုယူထားလို့ရပါတယ်။
အားသာချက်: Flexibility ရှိပါတယ်။ စာမေးပွဲတစ်ခုတည်းနဲ့ ဆုံးဖြတ်တာ မဟုတ်ဘဲ ၄ နှစ်စာ GPA ကို ကြည့်တာမို့ ကျောင်းသားတွေ စိတ်ဖိစီးမှု နည်းနိုင်ပါတယ်။
စိန်ခေါ်မှု: AP ဘာသာရပ်တွေ မယူထားရင် တက္ကသိုလ်ဝင်ခွင့်မှာ ပြိုင်ဆိုင်မှု အားနည်းနိုင်ပါတယ်။
