731 QUALIFYING APPLICATIONS FROM ABROAD 🏆 Interest in studying in Estonia is growing 🌍 📈 The growth has been significant: compared with 2025, the number of qualifying applications increased by 46%, and compared with 2024, it increased by 79%.

International XR-Metaverse Conference 2026 is coming to Tallinn on June 16–19! 🤝🏼

Under the theme “Converging Realities: Industry, Education & AI-Enabled Virtual Worlds”, XRM2026 will bring together researchers, industry professionals, educators, developers, and creatives exploring the future of XR, AI, immersive technologies, and virtual environments.

🇪🇪 Hosted from June 16–19 in Tallinn, Estonia, the conference combines academic research, industry insights, workshops, networking, and hands-on discussions on how physical and virtual realities are increasingly merging across sectors such as industry, education, healthcare, simulation, and entertainment.

This year’s keynote speakers include:

Conference proceedings will be published by Springer and indexed in SCOPUS.

The event is organised by IAITI – International Association of Immersive Technology Innovation, hosted by TalTech’s Industrial Virtual & Augmented Reality (IVAR) Lab, and supported by Manchester Metropolitan University and EEVR – Estonian VR & AR Association.

What is it like to study law in a country known for its digital society? 💡 🇪🇪 For Alexa, coming from Ecuador to study law at TalTech Law School meant more than choosing an English-taught programme in Europe.

It meant learning how legal systems work across countries, how EU law influences today’s decisions and how legal knowledge connects with real-life questions in business, technology and society.

FROM SPAIN 🇪🇸 TO TALTECH 🇪🇪 Most students expect lectures when they start university. Marc Dolcet Sadurni started with laboratory research 👀

After moving from Spain to study sustainable energetics at TalTech Inseneriteaduskond (School of Engineering), he joined a research group already in his first semester. Today, he is continuing at TalTech as a PhD student, researching advanced semiconductor materials that could be used in future solar cells and optoelectronic devices.

Alongside science and research, Tallinn also became home to an active international student life through ESN TalTech IC and ESN Estonia, where Marc helped organise activities and represent exchange students 🤝🏼
