Years ago, it started with curiosity, small steps, and big dreams. Through PYP, they learned to think, grow, and keep going even when it was hard. This isn’t just Grade 5, it’s every challenge, friendship, and lesson that shaped them. Now, onto MYP—new goals, bigger dreams, and exciting new beginnings.

Hear it from our students as they share their experience showcasing their art pieces. Through the MYP Visual Arts programme at Hayah West, students explored diverse artistic influences, developed new skills, and expressed their individuality through original creations. This exhibition celebrates their creativity, growth, and artistic achievement.

Our language acquisition teams in French and German, along with our I&S, religion, and Arabic teams, truly made Hayah West shine during the MYP Display of Learning.

Students celebrated their learning through TEDx-style speeches, plays, presentations, and interactive displays that showcased their knowledge, creativity, and communication skills. It was wonderful to see so many smiles from both students and parents as they shared their learning and celebrated their achievements.

We are incredibly proud of our U14 Girls Basketball Team for their outstanding achievement in the NBA 3x3 Tournament.

Since December, the girls have progressed through three rounds and reached the national finals at AUC, winning 13 of their 14 games and finishing as National Runners-Up, placing 2nd in Egypt.

Throughout their journey, they inspired us with their teamwork, maturity, resilience, and determination.

Shoutout to our amazing team: Zeina Eissa, Karma Diab, Salma Ahmed, Sara Mansour, and Hana Taalab.

A special thank you to our coaches.

Our MYP Visual Arts students proudly showcase the culmination of their creative journey. Through exploring art movements, studying local and global artists, and developing their understanding of the elements of art, students learned to express their unique artistic identities.

The exhibition highlights their learning process—from investigation and skill development to the creation of original artworks—while demonstrating achievement across all four MYP Visual Arts criteria.

As part of our How We Organize Ourselves unit, Grade 2 students explored financial literacy by learning about the flow of money through earning, spending, saving, and sharing. To bring their learning to life, they earned money before taking a grocery shopping trip to buy ingredients for smoothies. Working within a budget, students compared prices, made thoughtful choices, and practiced responsible spending. This hands-on experience helped them develop important life skills while gaining a deeper understanding of how money is managed in everyday life.
