🎵 "Haunting in the House!" 🎵

Throwing it back to early June, when our Middle Schoolers proved that dealing with ghosts is easy, but dealing with viral social media influencers is the real scare! 🏚️📸

Playbill: Haunting in the House! gave us the perfect blend of spooky special effects, dramatic scares, and a hilarious battle between monsters and ring-light-wielding influencers. Endlessly creative, the entire production was collaboratively devised, written, and composed by our very own students.

This production wasn't just a massive hit—it marked an exciting milestone for our entire theatre program. For the first time in BFIS history, the stage sets and lighting were designed entirely by students! A special, heartfelt thank you goes to our brilliant student technical designers whose outstanding leadership and relentless hard work brought the spooky Bonavive Manor to life. 💡🎨

A massive thank you to the incredible teachers who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to nurture this creative spark and get this production stage-ready. To every student performer and crew member: thank you for your willingness to take risks and pour your hearts into this show. We are still riding the high of your talent, Middle School. We are incredibly proud of what you have accomplished!

We are incredibly proud that our 7th Grade and 10th Grade football teams have been recognised with the Semàfor de Valors Award by the Consell de l'Esport Escolar de Barcelona.

This recognition goes far beyond the game. It celebrates the respect, sportsmanship, teamwork and positive attitude shown by our coaches, student-athletes and families throughout the season.

These are the same values we strive to nurture every day at BFIS: leading with kindness, competing with integrity and representing our community with pride.

Congratulations to everyone who made this possible. This achievement belongs to all of us.

HISTORIC DAY FOR BFIS SPORTS! 🔥

We are absolutely speechless! BOTH of our futbol teams have completely dominated their semi-finals, meaning the championship final for the ENTIRE Consell of the ENTIRE city of Barcelona will be BFIS A vs. BFIS B! 🏆⚽️

This is an absolutely unbelievable achievement for our school. In a stunning display of skill and teamwork, Cadet A crushed their semi-final against Arrels with a mind-blowing 11-0 (NIL) victory to punch their ticket to the finals.

No matter who takes home the trophy, the city championship belongs to BFIS! Congratulations to all our players, coaches, and supporters. Let’s get ready for an epic, all-BFIS grand finale! 🙌

🏆✨ Big congratulations to our amazing After-School Chess program students, Marc and Pau! They recently competed in the Gran Torneo ECADE organized by the Escola Catalana d’Escacs right here in Barcelona, which featured over 700 young players.

We are so proud to share their incredible results:

Marc placed 9th out of 115 students in his 3rd-grade group, earning himself a well-deserved book prize awarded to the top 10 finishers!

Pau took home 3rd place out of 126 students in his 1st-grade group, winning a spectacular trophy! 🏆

Thank you both for representing our school with such focus and sportsmanship. We are incredibly proud of your hard work and dedication. Keep those brilliant moves coming!

As another incredible school year comes to a close, we want to extend our deepest gratitude to our phenomenal PTA. There is a beautiful saying that on a journey, passengers are just along for the ride, but the crew is who actually moves the ship forward through their collaborative effort, experiencing a significantly richer journey along the way. Thank you to every single parent who chose to be part of our crew this year. Your dedication, energy, and shared effort are exactly what made this year’s passage so successful and memorable for our entire community. ❤️🌍

Last week, we got together to say a bittersweet goodbye to some of our wonderful PTA members who are finishing their service. We said it then, and we repeat it now: Thank you for being such an essential part of our school, for your years of leadership, and for the lasting legacy you leave behind. You will be greatly missed, but you will always be a cherished part of our BFIS family!
