Saying goodbye is never easy but that doesn’t mean it can’t be fun ✨🤳🏼 and with that summer session I has concluded 🥹

As our HSSA students have settled into Barcelona life this week, they have had the opportunity to explore the city’s most famous streets like Passeig de Gracia and Placa de Catalunya! 🤩

Students also participated on a boat ride on the sea, and even did a scavenger hunt in the Gothic Quarter where they learned more about Catalan culture! ⛵️✨✌🏼

Yarilis is a 19-year-old student currently spending her summer in Barcelona ✨📚
She’s here taking part in an international summer experience and making the most of life in the city 🌆

When she’s not in class, you’ll probably find her wandering around Barcelona, walking for hours, and trying new foods along the way 🍽️🚶‍♀️

Getting to know a culture one bite at a time 🍽️✨

This time, students gathered at Les Vermudes University to try truites, a traditional Catalan omelet that can be made with all kinds of ingredients, from potatoes and vegetables to cheese and local specialties 🍳🤍
