🏰 History & fun in Toledo 🏊♂️
Our 2nd&3 year ESO students made the most of their two-day trip to Toledo.
They explored the city’s historic streets, where they even had time to take on another of their classic photo challenges, and enjoyed the impressive shows at Puy du Fou.
And to wrap up this adventure in style, nothing beats an afternoon at the pool to cool off and relax.
Without a doubt, a trip to remember

🗣️The Big 4th Grade Debate 🗣️
Our students have organized a big debate to share their opinions about their day-to-day life at school:
Should we use a bell system to signal class changes?
Should we change our uniforms or keep the ones we have?
Should there be less fish on the menu?
What matters isn’t who wins the debate, but learning how to present arguments, respect others’ opinions, and speak confidently in public.
And who knows! Maybe some of their suggestions will give us ideas for next school year.

🧭 Expanding Our Skills 🗺️
At Lighthouse, we know that learning goes far beyond math, art, history, or literature. We also want our students to develop skills that will serve them throughout their lives.
For 3 days, our 6th and 7th graders are in Guadalajara, participating in an outdoor orientation and survival course.
Learning to navigate in the mountains, build shelters, work as a team, and tackle new challenges are experiences that help them gain independence, confidence, and the ability to overcome obstacles.
Because learning means discovering the world around us.

🎨 Little artists, big creativity 🎨
Our elementary school students wanted to cap off everything they’ve learned this year in art class with a Cubism workshop at the Soho Art Club.
With one of Madrid’s best views right in front of them and surrounded by nature, they let their imaginations run wild and created their own works of art.
Congratulations on the results!

🌈 Color your day 🌈
We’re very lucky: at Lighthouse, we’re surrounded by talent and creativity.
A small detail that shows it? Every morning, these colorful pieces surprise us as we enter the classroom: a pyramid, a castle tower, a colorful table with chairs that invite us to take a break for a while...
A way to start the day that invites us to add color, fun, and lots of imagination!

We spent a lot of time together at school this year, and now that the school year is coming to an end, our students wanted to thank their teachers for all their help by putting their observational skills to good use and paying tribute to them by dressing up as their lookalikes!
What do you think of the result?

On Friday, we were thrilled to join our elementary school students at their graduation ceremony. We cannot believe they have are finished Lower School this year and will be starting middle school in September.
It was a very emotional moment that we shared with our families, during which we reflected on the journey they’ve taken to get here, and we wanted to wish them all the best in the next chapter of their lives.
Congratulations, and thank you for letting us be a part of this special time with you!

🚒 Journey to the Future 🔭
Our students visited Micropolix and spent a few hours pretending to be adults, trying out different professions and earning their own money.
They put into practice what they’ve learned over the past few months, had a great time together, and came away with some ideas about what they’d like—and wouldn’t like—to be when they grow up. To recharge their energy, they enjoyed a delicious snack.
What a fulfilling and interesting day!

🌿 A weekend to share and remember 🌿
The school year is coming to an end, and this weekend our elementary students celebrated by spending two days on a farm and enjoying outdoor adventure activities. This gave them the chance to bond with their classmates, take on new challenges outside the classroom, and learn from nature.
It was a weekend they enjoyed together and will surely remember for a long time.

🎓 Kindergarten Graduation 🎓
Friday marked one of the most exciting days of the year for us: the graduation of our kindergarten students.
It was a time to celebrate all the progress they’ve made and to share with them and their families everything that lies ahead, during the ceremony we held in our schoolyard.
Congratulations! We are so proud of each and every one of you, and we look forward to accompanying you on this wonderful adventure next school year.
