It was wonderful to welcome alumni from the Classes of 2024, 2025, and 2026 back to campus on Friday for our Alumni Reunion.
From reconnecting with former classmates and teachers to sharing stories of university life and new adventures around the world, the evening was a reminder that the Brewster community extends far beyond graduation.
We also began a new tradition: for the first time, graduating Brewster students were able to visit the School House terrace, now known as the Alumni Terrace, a dedicated space to return to, reconnect, and relive memories on campus.
We’ve said it before, and it remains true: once a Bobcat, always a Bobcat. 💙

On Friday, we held our very first Brewster on Broadway led by the incredible Matt Gould.
From K3 through Grade 5, students took the stage to perform songs from iconic musicals including Oliver, Hairspray, Newsies, The Greatest Showman, and Les Misérables. It was a joyful celebration of music, storytelling, and creativity, with students stepping confidently out of their comfort zones and onto the stage. We are incredibly proud of the performances they delivered.
The event was orchestrated by award-winning composer and lyricist Matt Gould, known for Invisible Thread (Witness Uganda), Lempicka, and The Family Project, whose work has been performed on major stages including Second Stage Theater and the American Repertory Theater at Harvard. We were also joined by a trio of professional musicians from Spain’s production of Cabaret, alongside Brewster’s long-term music substitute Paul Cesarczyk on guitar.
A huge thank you to all the students, staff, and performers who made this first edition so special. Stay tuned for video clips coming soon.

Field Day marks the final day of our Spring Fest celebrations each year. It's a chance for Middle and Upper School students to give it their all as they compete for points for their House teams.
Bringing together students and faculty from both our Chamberí and La Moraleja campuses, the day was filled with energy, teamwork, and House spirit. From sprints and relays to speed walking, soccer, and kickball, everyone gave their all in pursuit of valuable House points.
Congratulations to the Black Rhinos for taking first place on Field Day! An even bigger congratulations to the White Owls, who earned the most House points across the entire school year and secured their reward trip to Parque de Atracciones de Madrid.
A special thank you to Middle School student, Katia, for helping photograph the soccer and kickball games throughout the day. 📸

From dress themes like Denim Day to Tropical Day, and games from Pictionary to Bingo, Spring Fest 2026 brought a week of fierce competition, school spirit, and nonstop excitement!
For the third year in a row, students from the Red Bucks, Black Rhinos, White Owls, and Blue Sharks battled it out in a series of challenges, all fighting for those crucial house points. Every point mattered, every challenge counted, and the leaderboard kept everyone guessing until the very end.
The competition reached its peak on Field Day, where students from both campuses came together for one final showdown on the sports field. With house pride on the line, tensions were high and the energy was even higher.
Stay tuned for Field Day photos tomorrow! 👀

It’s that time of year again. While most of us are counting down the days until summer, our Seniors are counting down to the start of a new chapter.
On Monday, we gave our Seniors the traditional Brewster farewell. Teachers presented students with accolades, followed by the whole Brewster community gathering outside the school building for the traditional clap-out.
Emotions were high as they stepped through the school gates as students for the final time, but we already can’t wait to welcome them back as Brewster Madrid alumni.
Tomorrow, we will celebrate them all at graduation and look forward to congratulating them on their achievements and next steps.

We are so proud of Paula (Class of ’27) for her role in Los Chicos del Coro at Teatro La Latina in Madrid.

Reflecting on her experience, Paula shared, “It has been an incredible experience to perform in a packed theater week after week and to be part of a production of such a high artistic level.”
She adds, “In addition to learning about acting, singing, and dancing, I have also improved valuable skills such as teamwork, discipline, responsibility, resilience, and confidence.”
Paula also shared, “I take away unforgettable memories with my fellow cast members and am deeply grateful to the producers and directors for the trust they have placed in me.”
She concludes, “I would like to thank Brewster Madrid for its constant support and for helping me balance my passion for musical theatre with my academic responsibilities.”
Well done, Paula!
