Founded in 2006, the Human Rights Institute (IDH) is the focal point of international human Rights education at the University of Valencia.

Mission statement

Members of the Institute come form different disciplines such as criminology, constitutionalism, jurisprudence, procedural law, labour law, international law, legal history and social sciences. The Institute is part of a Spanish Human Rights Institutes network.
