📱❤️ Acompañar, escuchar y comprender. Este fue uno de los mensajes clave de la charla ‘Redes Sociales y Salud Mental en la Infancia y la Adolescencia’, impartida por Luis Rojo Bofill, médico psiquiatra y especialista en psiquiatría infanto-juvenil del Hospital La Fe de Valencia. Más allá de los riesgos de las redes sociales, destacó la importancia de interesarnos por el mundo digital de nuestros hijos: saber a qué juegan, qué contenidos consumen y cómo se relacionan online. Solo así podremos entenderles mejor, ayudarles y guiarles en esta etapa tan importante de sus vidas.

📱❤️ Supporting, listening and understanding. This was one of the key messages from the talk ‘Social Media and Mental Health in Childhood and Adolescence’, delivered by Luis Rojo Bofill, Consultant Psychiatrist and Specialist in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Hospital La Fe Valencia. Beyond the risks associated with social media, he highlighted the importance of taking an interest in our children's digital world: knowing what they play, what content they consume and how they interact online. Only by doing so can we better understand, support and guide them through this important stage of their lives.

El teatro tiene el poder de emocionar, educar y transformar vidas 🎭. Nos alegra compartir esta iniciativa solidaria de nuestros alumnos de Secundaria inspirada en el clásico de Hamlet. Con su representación han logrado recaudar fondos para seguir acercando las artes escénicas a más personas y fomentar el amor por el teatro entre las nuevas generaciones. ¡Enhorabuena a todos los que lo han hecho posible! 👏

Un 'Hamlet' solidario recauda fondos en Valencia para promover el teatro entre jóvenes Cuarenta estudiantes de British School protagonizan una adaptación cómica y musical de la obra de Shakespeare en favor de una entidad que promociona las artes escénicas para la infancia y la juventud

Nuestros alumnos de Pre-Nursery han disfrutado de una experiencia sensorial en la que han podido experimentar y observar diferentes efectos visuales a través de sus propias botellas sensoriales. Este tipo de actividades favorece el desarrollo de la curiosidad, la concentración y la motricidad fina, al tiempo que estimula los sentidos y fomenta el aprendizaje a través del juego y la exploración. Además, les ayuda a desarrollar su creatividad, autonomía y capacidad de observación desde edades muy tempranas. ¡Una forma divertida de descubrir el mundo que les rodea! 💙

Our Pre-Nursery students have enjoyed a sensory experience where they were able to experiment and observe different visual effects through their own sensory bottles. These types of activities support the development of curiosity, concentration and fine motor skills, whilst stimulating their senses and encouraging learning through play and exploration. They also help children develop their creativity, independence and observational skills from an early age. A fun and meaningful way to discover the world around them! 💙

Estamos enormemente orgullosos de nuestras tres finalistas en la Primera Edición del Concurso Interescolar de Escritura de Primaria, organizado por Caxton College y en el que participaron varios colegios internacionales. Nuestras finalistas de Year 4, Year 5 y Year 6 recibieron grandes elogios por parte del jurado, compuesto por escritores profesionales y fueron galardonadas con medallas y diplomas por la calidad de sus trabajos. Una felicitación muy especial para nuestra alumna de Year 6, que obtuvo el primer puesto con su relato ‘The Secret of Don Arturo’s Wigs’. Los jueces destacaron la originalidad y la carga emocional de su historia. ¡Un fantástico logro!

We are incredibly proud of our three finalists in the first Primary Inter-school Writing Competition, organised by Caxton College and involving several international schools. Our Year 4, Year 5 and Year 6 finalists were highly praised by the judges, all published authors, and received medals and certificates for their outstanding work. A special congratulations to our Year 6 student, who won first place with her story ‘The Secret of Don Arturo’s Wigs’. The judges were impressed by the originality and emotional impact of her writing. What a fantastic achievement!

🌍💚 En BSV hemos celebrado el Día Mundial del Medio Ambiente con actividades para alumnos de Infantil a Secundaria, junto a familias invitadas y ponentes vinculados a organizaciones como UNICEF. Charlas, asambleas, plantación de semillas y otras iniciativas nos han ayudado a reflexionar sobre la importancia de cuidar nuestro planeta. Porque educar en sostenibilidad hoy es formar a los ciudadanos responsables del mañana 🌱♻️

🌍💚 At BSV, we celebrated World Environment Day with activities for students from Early Years to Secondary, alongside invited families and guest speakers connected to organisations such as UNICEF. Talks, assemblies, seed planting and other initiatives encouraged us to reflect on the importance of caring for our planet. Because educating for sustainability today means shaping the responsible citizens of tomorrow 🌱♻️

💻🚀 Nuestros Líderes Digitales de Primaria han recibido la visita de Funbrain para descubrir el apasionante mundo de la supercomputación. A través de una charla dinámica, actividades en grupo y un turno de preguntas, aprendieron qué es un superordenador y cómo se utiliza para resolver grandes desafíos científicos y tecnológicos. Además, conocieron el MareNostrum 5, uno de los superordenadores más potentes de Europa, situado en Barcelona. Este tipo de experiencias acercan la tecnología a nuestros alumnos, despiertan su curiosidad y les ayudan a desarrollar nuevas habilidades para el futuro.

💻🚀 Our Primary Digital Leads welcomed a visit from Funbrain to discover the fascinating world of supercomputing. Through an engaging talk, group activities and a Q&A session, they learned what a supercomputer is and how it is used to tackle major scientific and technological challenges. They also discovered MareNostrum 5, one of the most powerful supercomputers in Europe, located in Barcelona. These kinds of experiences bring technology closer to our students, spark their curiosity and help them develop new skills for the future.
