They Will Now Proceed To The Next Six(6) Months Of Practical Training Attachment.

Today Is Also Their Sports Day, Celebrated With Great Service, Enjoyment And Wonderful Meals.

According To The Latest Information For The Ra Education Office, All Primary And Secondary Schools In The Ra Province Will Remain Closed Tomorrow Until Further Notice.

As President Of The Vunitogoloa Students Association, I Wish To Inform All Our Members Attending Primary And Secondary Schools Within The Rakiraki District That There Will Be No Classes Tomorrow.

Further Updates Will Be Provided As Soon As Additional Information Is Received From The Relevant Authorities.

The safety and well-being of our students, teachers, and school communities remain our highest priority.

Following consultations with the National Disaster Risk Management Office (NDRMO), the Fiji Meteorological Service, and relevant authorities, schools in most divisions will resume normal operations tomorrow, Wednesday, 17 June.

However, due to ongoing adverse weather conditions and safety concerns:
📍 Naitasiri, Namosi & Rewa schools will remain closed.
📍 Ra Education District schools will remain closed.
📍 Lau & Kadavu Education District schools will remain closed.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to exercise discretion and prioritize the safety of their children.

As President Of The Vunitogoloa Students Association, I Wish To Inform All Parents And Guardians Of Students Attending Primary Schools, Secondary Schools In Rakiraki And Students Studying At Pacific Polytech Tavua Campus That The Current Weather Conditions Including Heavy Rain And Strong Winds, May Affect Travel And Attendance.

The Health, Safety And Wellbeing Of Our Students Are Our Highest Priority. If Weather Conditions Make It Unsafe For Student's To Travel To School, Their Safety Is More Important Than School Attendance.

The Vunitogoloa Students Association Will Communicate With The Respective School Heads And Relevant Authorities Regarding Student Absences Caused By These Adverse Weather Conditions.
