Today, on International Women in Engineering Day, we’re celebrating the incredible women shaping the future of science, technology and engineering.

At Aberdeen Science Centre, we’re passionate about inspiring the next generation of innovators through hands-on learning, discovery and creativity. From our interactive exhibits to our STEM workshops and school programmes, we aim to show young people, especially girls and young women, that engineering is for everyone.

Engineering changes the world every day and representation matters. By showcasing diverse role models and creating opportunities to explore STEM subjects in engaging ways, we hope to inspire future engineers right here in the North East of Scotland.

Here’s to the women driving innovation, solving global challenges and inspiring future generations.

📢 𝐖𝐞 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 - closing date next week!

We are looking for a STEM Engagement Coordinator who will plan, deliver and develop Aberdeen Science Centre’s STEM Club Project in Peterhead. You will deliver high quality, interactive STEM experiences that inspire curiosity and make science engaging and accessible to primary school aged children and their families.

This is a part-time [25 hours per week], temporary 9-month contract and is being funded by SSEN Transmission.
