Part-Time Experienced Finance Assistant

At Drain Technology (UK) Ltd, we’re looking for an experienced and organised Finance Assistant to join our team at our Abingdon (OX14) office on a part-time basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong finance and accounts background who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to be part of a supportive and expanding business.

Key Responsibilities

✔ Sales ledger and purchase ledger management
✔ Credit control and debt collection
✔ Processing supplier invoices and payments
✔ Assisting with monthly management accounts
✔ Payroll administration support
✔ VAT returns and general bookkeeping duties
✔ Supporting the Finance Manager and wider management team

What We’re Looking For

✔ Previous experience in a finance or accounts role
✔ Strong working knowledge of Sage, Quickbooks or similar accounting software
✔ Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
✔ Professional and confident communication skills
✔ Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively
✔ Experience within construction, utilities, drainage or engineering sectors would be advantageous
