🚆We are delighted to share that our school has achieved the Bronze Rail Safe Friendly Certification!
This award recognises our commitment to raising vital rail safety awareness among our pupils and helping them understand how to stay safe around the railway.
Rail safety is a message that extends beyond the classroom, so we encourage all parents and carers to take a few moments to read the Rail Safe Friendly information being shared. By working together, we can help keep children and young people safe and support the mission to eradicate trespassing on the railway network.
A huge well done to everyone involved in helping us achieve this important recognition!🏅

Our students travelled by train to Westminster to visit Parliament and take part in the Learn with the Lords Day programme. During their visit, they enjoyed a tour of the Palace of Westminster, participated in an interactive workshop exploring how laws are made, and had the opportunity to take part in a question-and-answer session with a member of the House of Lords.
The experience gave students a valuable insight into how Parliament works and the important role of the House of Lords in the UK's democratic process. They represented our school brilliantly, asking thoughtful questions and showing great enthusiasm throughout the day.
It was an inspiring and memorable experience that brought learning to life beyond the classroom. A huge thank you to the Parliament Education team and everyone involved in making the day such a success.
We are incredibly proud of our students and all they gained from this unique opportunity.👏❤️

In today’s assembly, we focused on the work of Mero’s World Foundation and the importance of Knife Crime Awareness Week.
Students learned about the devastating impact knife crime has on individuals, families and communities through the powerful story behind Mero’s World, a charity created in memory of Rhamero West. We discussed the importance of making positive choices, resisting peer pressure and looking after one another.
We also spoke about bleed control cabinets and how these life-saving resources can help in emergency situations before paramedics arrive.
As a school community, we are committed to raising awareness, educating our young people and promoting safety, kindness and support for others.💜

On Wednesday we came together to support Mental Health Awareness Month and had such a lovely time taking part in a range of activities across school!💚
Students and staff enjoyed a fun quiz, a “guess how many sweets are in the jar” challenge, and some fantastic poster designing. Our Thrive 1 class also spread lots of kindness by handing out uplifting notes to both staff and students, which brought plenty of smiles throughout the afternoon.
As part of the event, we were also raising money for the Mental Health Foundation to support the important work they do in promoting positive mental health and wellbeing.
A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the afternoon such a positive and supportive event 💚
