Next week the weather forecast is looking glorious. From Monday to Wednesday we will allow students to wear NOA PE kit or their usual NOA Uniform. A reminder that it is non uniform day on Thursday and INSET day on Friday (students not in school).
Students are expected to bring a re-fillable water bottle into school and to wear suncreen.

✈️ After two weather-related cancellations, our Gliding Club finally took to the skies on 17 June – and it was worth the wait!

Students spent the day exploring flight simulators, testing model aircraft, touring the hangar, and enjoying first-hand glider flights. They also learned how a gliding club operates, helping with aircraft retrieval and airfield duties.

Our Year 10 students were a credit to North Oxfordshire Academy, showing Confidence, Ambition, Respect and Determination throughout. A huge thank you to the volunteers at Edgehill Gliding Club for providing such an inspiring STEM experience. 🚀

Today we celebrated our Year 13 Leavers’ Assembly, reflecting on achievements, memories, and friendships made throughout their journey. We are incredibly proud of all they have accomplished and wish them every success as they take their next steps. Congratulations, Class of 2026! 🎓✨

Congratulations to the students who attended the Oxfordshire county schools athletics competition on Saturday. All students represented NOA brilliantly and showed fantastic determination throughout their events. Well done to Annie who placed second in her 1500m event.

This Thursday Lunch! Students can get their tickets from the canteen as they would normally pay for lunch. Free school meal students can grab these on Thursday.

It will be a busy week for Year 12 students next week...

All Year 12 will be off timetable to take part in their work experience from Tursday 23rd June to Friday 26th June.

On Monday, students will be heading to the Birmingham NEC to attend the UCAS Discovery event, which offers hundreds of universities and apprenticeship providers whom students can speak to. The 2 hour slot will allow students to explore options, speak to admission teams and attend talks on pathways.

Today we celebrated Pride Month with a colourful day full of cakes, face painting, music, and bright rainbow ribbons. It was a wonderful opportunity to come together, celebrate diversity, and spread positivity throughout our community.

Mr Tanner honoured the deal: top student by merits got to choose my Marvel outfit. The winner chose Spider-Man after Iron Man took back his suit. So while the Avengers were saving the world, I was bravely defending it in a pair of Hello Kitty pyjamas. Not all heroes wear capes. Some wear pink cats. 🐱🕷️
